Magic's Gary Harris: Goes through practice
Harris (hamstring) was able to practice Tuesday, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Harris has missed the past nine games for Orlando, but he's getting closer to a return. For now, he can be considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Thunder. He'll likely be looking at a limited workload upon his return, however.

Magic's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Scores just four points
Caldwell-Pope supplied four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 100-91 loss to the Knicks.
Caldwell-Pope's low usage rate has been frustrating, especially with Franz Wagner (oblique) and Paolo Banchero (oblique) sidelined. Caldwell-Pope has been ice-cold in December, posting averages of 7.6 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.4 three-pointers on 38.5 percent shooting over his last seven games.

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Plays 15 minutes in return
Isaac (hamstring) tallied three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 15 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 100-91 loss to the Knicks.
After missing the Magic's last three games with a right hamstring strain, Isaac made his return to action Sunday and, as usual, offered most of his value on the defensive end. Though Paolo Banchero (oblique) still looks to be at least a week away from being cleared to play, Isaac may not get the chance to see his minutes ramp up dramatically while the Magic deploy Wendell Carter as their starting power forward.

Magic's Jalen Suggs: Nearly double-doubles
Suggs fouled out of Sunday's 100-91 loss to the Knicks after recording nine points (4-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and one steal across 32 minutes.
Suggs was hot coming into Sunday's game on the offensive end, and while that wasn't the case in this loss, he made up for it with excellent playmaking and defense. He tied his career-best mark of three blocks, and he's been terrific throughout December with averages of 18.9 points, 4.0 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 2.3 steals and 2.4 three-pointers over his last seven games.

Magic's Moritz Wagner: Notches career-high 32 points
Wagner supplied 32 points (10-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 8-11 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes during Sunday's 100-91 loss to the Knicks.
Wagner caught fire in Sunday's loss, posting a new career-high mark of 32 points. He also tied his career-best mark of four three-pointers, something he's now done five different times. Wagner is heating up and could continue to provide consistent streaming value while Paolo Banchero (oblique) and Franz Wagner (oblique) rehab their injuries.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Scores career-high 20 points
Da Silva supplied 20 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes during Sunday's 100-91 loss to New York.
Da Silva had been pretty quiet in recent games but exploded for a career-high 20 points in the loss Sunday. The Magic are very shorthanded at the moment, so fantasy managers will want to watch da Silva closely in case he catches fire. Through seven December outings, he's averaging 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 three-pointers in 20.3 minutes per game.

Magic's Gary Harris: Won't play Sunday
Harris (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Harris will miss a ninth straight game due to a hamstring injury. His next chance to suit up will come Thursday against the Thunder.

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Good to go Sunday
Isaac (hamstring) is available for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
As expected, Isaac has been upgraded from probable to available and will suit up after missing the previous three games due to a right hamstring injury. Over his last 12 appearances, Isaac has averaged 19.1 minutes per game.

Magic's Caleb Houstan: Returns to parent club
Orlando recalled Houstan from the G League's Osceola Magic on Sunday.
Houstan posted 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Osceola's 122-111 win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Saturday. He's appeared in four of Orlando's first six games in December, but he's played double-digit minutes at the NBA level only once this season.

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Probable to play Sunday
Isaac (hamstring) is probable for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Isaac has missed Orlando's last three outings due to a right hamstring injury, but his involvement in practice Friday suggests he should be available to return to the hardwood Sunday. Isaac is averaging 6.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game this season, so he shouldn't carry a lot of fantasy upside, especially since he's played off the bench in his 21 regular-season appearances.

Magic's Gary Harris: Listed as questionable for Sunday
Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Harris missed eight straight games due to a hamstring injury, but the veteran guard has a chance to returning Sunday. However, and even though his return will add depth to the Magic's backcourt, he shouldn't carry a lot of fantasy upside. Harris has averaged 4.1 points and 1.4 rebounds across 16.6 minutes per game in 17 regular-season appearances.

Magic's Caleb Houstan: Assigned to G League
The Magic assigned Houstan to the G League's Osceola Magic on Saturday.
Houstan has spent most of the season with Orlando in the NBA, averaging 1.2 points in 5.5 minutes across 17 appearances. However, Houstan will likely play in the Osceola Magic's G League game against the Vipers on Saturday.

Magic's Paolo Banchero: Participates in drills Friday
Coach Jamahl Mosley said Friday that Banchero (oblique) did some conditioning and ball handling drills during Friday's practice, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports.
While Banchero's activity in practice is a positive sign of his progression through a torn right oblique, he'll likely remain sidelined for an extended period as he has yet to move on to contact drills. The star forward hasn't played since sustaining the injury Oct. 30, and a timeline for his return to game action is unclear. With Banchero and Franz Wagner (oblique) sidelined, Moritz Wagner, Jett Howard and Tristan da Silva should continue seeing an uptick in playing time.

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Returns to practice
Isaac (hamstring) participated in Friday's practice, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports.
Isaac has missed Orlando's last three outings due to a right hamstring injury. However, the 27-year-old forward's return to practice is a good sign of his availability for Sunday's NBA Cup consolation matchup against New York.

Magic's Gary Harris: Considered day-to-day
Harris put up shots after Friday's practice and is considered day-to-day with a strained left hamstring, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports.
Harris has missed the club's last eight games due to the hamstring injury, though he seems to be nearing a return to game action. The veteran guard can be considered questionable at best for Sunday's matchup versus the Knicks until the team provides an update on his status. Harris has averaged 4.1 points and 1.4 rebounds across 16.6 minutes per game in 17 regular-season appearances.

Magic's Caleb Houstan: Returns from G League
The Magic recalled Houstan from the G League's Osceola Magic on Thursday, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
After losing its NBA Cup matchup with the Bucks on Tuesday, the Magic are off until Sunday's game against the Knicks, which prompted the organization to assign Houstan to the G League club earlier this week. He made his debut for Osceola on Thursday and scored 10 points to go with seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block across 31 minutes in a 128-105 win over the Mexico City Capitanes. Though he'll be back with the parent club for Sunday's game, Houstan may not be needed in the rotation if either of Gary Harris (hamstring) or Jonathan Isaac (hamstring) are cleared to play.

Magic's Moritz Wagner: Scores 13 in 19 minutes
Wagner registered 13 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 19 minutes during Tuesday's 114-109 loss to the Bucks.
Wagner has reached double figures in six straight games, but his workloads remain fairly low. In that span, he's averaging 20.0 minutes per contest with 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 three-pointers. He's been a viable streamer to open December.
