Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Another productive season
Heyward recorded 78 total tackles (38 solo), including 3.5 sacks, while also adding six passes defensed and a forced fumble over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.
Heyward was able to exceed 70 total takedowns for the second straight year and fourth time in the last five seasons. The defensive lineman has now registered at least 2.0 sacks in 13 straight campaigns. Even though it was his 15th season in Pittsburgh, Heyward continues to be one of the most productive players at his position in the league, being selected as a second-team All-Pro in 2025.

Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Good to go for Monday
Heyward (knee) does not have an injury designation for Monday's matchup against Miami.
Heyward was added to the injury report Friday due to a knee issue and didn't practice that day. However, he was able to return to full participation Saturday, and he's been cleared to take the field Monday. Heyward has a modest 1.5 sacks through 13 contests this season after logging 8.0 across 17 regular-season games last year.

Steelers' Cameron Heyward: DNP Friday
Heyward (knee) did not participate in Friday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Heyward was a new addition to the injury report Friday with a knee injury, and the inability to practice does not bode well for the veteran's chances of suiting up for Monday night's game against the Dolphins. The defensive lineman will have just one more practice to upgrade his participation level, and if he is unable to, Esezi Otomewo and Logan Lee will likely have to take over his duties on the defensive line for Monday's game.

Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Limited participant in practice
Heyward (ankle) was a limited participant in Pittsburgh's practice Wednesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.
Heyward's practice status was likely precautionary, as he was also limited in practice last week before eventually playing in the team's Week 12 loss versus Chicago. The 36-year-old has recorded just 1.5 sacks so far this season but will look to be more productive Sunday versus the Bills.

Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Cleared of injury tag
Heyward (ankle) had his injury designation removed by Pittsburgh on Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Heyward managed an ankle injury this week and logged a DNP/DNP/LP practice progression. The limited session Friday appears to be enough for the veteran defensive tackle to take the field Sunday against Chicago. Heyward has had a quiet season sack-wise with just 1.5 sacks through 10 games, though he also has six defensed passes and a forced fumble.

Heyward didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday but got in a limited practice Friday. The 36-year-old has turned in a solid season to date, posting 41 tackles (16 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and six pass breakups on 69 percent of the defensive snaps across 10 appearances.
