Steelers' B.J. Finney: Placed on IR
Finney (back) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Finney had been playing through a back injury for more than a month, but he apparently suffered a setback during Week 13 and was held out the following contest. The 30-year-old offensive lineman will miss at least three weeks after being placed on injured reserve, and Kendrick Green is expected to fill in at center during his absence.

Steelers' B.J. Finney: Out for Thursday
Finney (back) will not play Thursday against the Vikings.
Finney has been dealing with a back injury for more than a month now, but he was able to play through it. He appears to have aggravated it further Sunday against the Ravens when he left early and was unable to return. After not being able to log a practice all week, Finney will give way to Kendrick Green, who will likely draw the start at center.

Steelers' B.J. Finney: Will be evaluated
Finney's back injury is being evaluated after the Steelers' 20-19 win over the Ravens, according to head coach Mike Tomlin, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Finney left early Sunday with the injury. He dealt with a back issue earlier this season, but it's not known whether this a continuation of the same or something new. The Steelers have a short week ahead as they travel to Minnesota to play Thursday, which may make it more difficult for Finney to recover in time. If he is unable to go, Kendrick Green will likely get the nod to start at center.
