  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Stays limited at practice

Lockett (thigh) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett continues to operate with a cap on his practice reps due to the thigh issue that has followed him since mid-August. Still, he's been able to suit up for both of Seattle's games this season on his way to eight catches (on nine targets) for 92 yards and no touchdowns. Whether Lockett enters Sunday's game against the Dolphins listed as questionable like he was in Week 1 or minus an injury designation like he was in Week 2 will hinge on his practice activity Thursday and Friday.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: No injury designation

Lockett (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at New England, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Lockett has been dealing with a thigh injury since mid-August and was listed as questionable for Week 1, before catching six passes for 77 yards on a team-high seven targets in a 26-20 win over Denver. He got fewer snaps and routes than Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who nonetheless was targeted just twice en route to a 2-19-0 receiving line. It's possible Lockett gets more playing time now that he's healthier, but it might also be a regular thing for JSN to take more snaps/routes than his 31-year-old teammate this year.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited at practice

Lockett (thigh) was a limited practice participant Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett is following the same routine this week as he did during Week 1 prep, meaning he likely will follow back-to-back capped sessions with a full practice Friday. Whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at New England remains to be seen, but there doesn't seem to be much, if any, worry about him being available. Lockett paced the Seahawks with six catches (on seven targets) for 77 yards during this past Sunday's win over the Broncos.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited this week

Lockett (thigh) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. As was the case last week to begin preparations for the Seahawks' season opener, Lockett is kicking off this week with a cap on his reps due to the thigh issue that has lingered since mid-August. While his snap share (54 percent) during this past Sunday's win against the Broncos fell below his standard from past seasons, he paced the team with six catches (on seven targets) for 77 yards. Whether or not Lockett carries a designation into Sunday's game at New England will be determined after Friday's practice report is released.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 2 Adds (WR Preview)

Lockett was disrespected all offseason again and came out and played like the Seahawks' number one wide receiver in Week 1. View him as a boom/bust flex for now, but if he has another week as the team's top target earner, he'll move into WR3 territory.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 2 Waiver Priority List

Lockett just continues to produce, and in Week 1 against Denver, he was the Seahawks' leading receiver with six catches for 77 yards on seven targets. DK Metcalf (three catches for 29 yards on four targets) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (two catches for 19 yards on two targets) will have better games moving forward, but Lockett is worth stashing on your bench for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leading receiver in Week 1 win

Lockett (thigh) brought in six of seven targets for 77 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Broncos. Lockett was battling a thigh injury this preseason, and while his presence in the lineup wasn't in serious doubt, fantasy managers should be pleased with Sunday's results. The veteran wideout should remain an integral part of Seattle's balanced passing attack. That said, an absent Kenneth Walker (abdomen) from next week's tilt against the Patriots could produce another healthy target total for Lockett.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Suiting up Sunday

Lockett (thigh) is active for Sunday's game versus the Broncos. A thigh injury plagued Lockett since mid-August, and he managed back-to-back limited practices to begin Week 1 prep before capping it with a full session Friday. While he entered the weekend listed as questionable, both the wide receiver and coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism that Lockett would be able to suit up Sunday. Indeed, that has come to pass, meaning Lockett will join DK Metcalf and second-year pro Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the Seahawks' top trio of wide receivers for quarterback Geno Smith.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: On track to play Sunday

Lockett (thigh) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Even though Lockett was limited during practices Wednesday and Thursday, head coach Mike Macdonald had already intimated that the wideout was on track to play Sunday. Lockett's condition apparently hasn't taken a turn for the worse in the two days after he turned in a full practice Friday, so expect him to be formally cleared when the Seahawks release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. DK Metcalf and Lockett will once again sit atop the depth chart at receiver for the Seahawks entering the 2024 season, but 2023 first-round pick and No. 3 wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba is expected to take on a larger role in his second NFL campaign and could wind up cutting into Lockett's target share.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Looking good for Sunday

Lockett (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Denver, but comments from head coach Mike Macdonald in combination with the wide receiver's full practice participation Friday suggest that the wideout will play, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. In other words, Lockett likely would be listed as probable if the designation still existed. He injured his thigh in mid-August and missed more than two weeks of practice, returning this Monday and ultimately progressing to full participation by the end of the week. Both Lockett and Macdonald have expressed confidence that the wideout will be active ahead of a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Questionable for season opener

Lockett (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Lockett has been bothered by a thigh injury since mid-August and was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday. He said Monday that his limitations in practice have been related to maintenance, telling reporters that he'd be fine to play in the season opener. The Seahawks apparently don't consider it a sure thing, although coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that "we expect [Lockett] to play," per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited in practice

Lockett (thigh) was limited at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett has kicked off Week 1 prep with back-to-back capped showings due to a thigh injury, which has impacted him since mid-August. With just one more session to prove his health this week, there's a non-zero chance he'll enter the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos. In the end, though, Lockett expressed confidence Monday that he'll suit up for that contest, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Limited by thigh issue

Lockett was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to a thigh injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Since mid-August, Lockett has been tending to an undisclosed leg issue, which has been confirmed to be to his thigh. He told Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic on Monday that his lack of activity in the meantime was related to maintenance, and added that he was aiming to play Sunday against the Broncos. Lockett has a pair of practices left ahead of the weekend before Seattle potentially tabs him with a designation for the season opener.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Intends to be available for opener

Lockett (leg) said Monday that he will play in Sunday's game against the Broncos, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Lockett has been sitting out practice since Aug. 14 due to a leg issue that wasn't considered to be serious by coach Mike Macdonald. On Monday, the veteran wideout relayed that his lack of activity was maintenance related, and he's healthy and ready to go to begin the 2024 campaign. The Seahawks won't post their first injury report until Wednesday, at which point how he's listed will confirm his standing. Prior to racking up 894 receiving yards in 17 regular-season games last year, Lockett had put together four consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Still sidelined at practice

Lockett (leg) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Lockett now has been sidelined for more than a week due to a leg injury that coach Mike Macdonald didn't consider to be serious last Wednesday, Aug. 14, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. As a result, the Seahawks seem to be exercising caution with the nine-year pro to make sure he's healthy for a Week 1 matchup with the Broncos in Sunday, Sept. 8.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Managing leg injury

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday that Lockett is dealing with a leg injury, but that the issue isn't considered serious, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Lockett's leg injury may affect his availability for Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, but the wideout still appears on track to be ready to go for Week 1. If Lockett's condition takes a turn for the worse or if he suffers a setback, however, second-year pro Jaxon Smith-Njigba will have a clear path to the No. 2 wide receiver role behind DK Metcalf.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Restructures deal with Seattle

Lockett and the Seahawks agreed on a two-year, $30 million restructured contract with a maximum value of $34 million Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Lockett had two years and $34 million remaining on the four-year deal he signed with the team in 2021, so Saturday's deal moves some of the money while he'll get $13 million guaranteed in 2024, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. With the restructured deal, the Seahawks have seemingly added a little more wiggle room to their salary cap situation heading into the official start of NFL free agency Wednesday. Lockett had a down year by his standards in 2023, reeling in 79 receptions for 894 yards and five touchdowns, which represented his lowest yardage and touchdown totals since 2017.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Big-play WR Sunday

Lockett turned two receptions (four targets) into 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-20 win over Arizona. Lockett served the role of big-play receiver for Seattle in Sunday's comeback victory. The veteran wideout corralled a pair of 30-plus yard receptions, including the game-winning touchdown catch with less than two minutes remaining. Lockett's heroics did not save the Seahawks' season, but they gave the receiver 79 catches for 894 yards and five touchdowns over 17 games played. The 31-year-old is under contract with Seattle through 2025, but his contract has an out clause available for the upcoming 2024 season.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Disappears in loss

Lockett recorded one reception on five targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. The Seahawks ran only 49 offensive plays, which limited the volume of many of their skill-position players. That was the case for Lockett, who has seen five or fewer targets in only four games this season. The performance was a continuation of his uneven production this season, as he has been held under 25 yards in two of his last four games, but he's topped 80 in the other two contests.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leading receiver on 11 targets

Lockett finished with eight receptions on 11 targets for 81 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Titans. Lockett bounced back from last week's poor showing (3-21-0 versus Philadelphia) to lead the Seahawks in receiving against Tennessee. The veteran wideout played a key role in Sunday's comeback victory when he made two drive-extending catches late in the fourth quarter that led to Colby Parkinson's deciding touchdown grab. Lockett hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 10, but he is seeing enough volume to provide fantasy utility against the Steelers next Sunday.
