Chargers' Dalvin Tomlinson: Signs with Bolts
Tomlinson and the Chargers agreed to terms on a one-year, $7.5 million deal Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 32-year-old defensive lineman from Alabama was dropped by the Cardinals on Mar. 6 but has since found a new home in Los Angeles. Tomlinson appeared in 17 games last season, recording 26 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defensed. Now with the Chargers, he's expected to operate as one of the team's top interior defensive linemen during the 2026 season.

Dalvin Tomlinson: Cut loose by Arizona
The Cardinals released Tomlinson on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Tomlinson and the Cardinals agreed to a two-year, $29 million contract in March of 2025, but the 2017 second-rounder will end up playing just one season in Arizona. He finished the 2025 regular season with 26 tackles (13 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense over 17 games. Tomlinson should attract interest from teams looking to add a veteran defensive lineman to the roster.

Cardinals' Dalvin Tomlinson: Back to health
Tomlinson (knee) isn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.
Tomlinson missed some time during training camp due to a knee injury, but he was never expected to be in line for an extended absence. His absence from Wednesday's injury report suggests the defensive tackle will be ready to go Week 1 against New Orleans. Tomlinson is slated to start along the Cardinals' defensive line after spending that past two campaigns in Cleveland.

Cardinals' Dalvin Tomlinson: Likely facing short absence
Tomlinson (knee) won't practice Thursday, but coach Jonathan Gannon doesn't expect him to be sidelined for an extended period, Theo Mackie of AZCentral.com reports. "He's doing well but I didn't think it was the right thing to do to put him out there today," Gannon said.
Tomlinson's availability for the regular season doesn't appear to be in jeopardy, though he may sit out Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos. He's expected to start on the interior of Arizona's defensive line after signing a two-year, $29 million contract with the Cardinals in March.
