    The Raiders placed Brown (hand) on injured reserve Tuesday. Brown missed Las Vegas' matchup versus the Rams last Thursday due to a hand issue, and he's since been placed on injured reserve and is now slated to miss at least the next four contests as a result of the transaction. In the 27-year-old's absence, Darien Butler, Luke Masterson and Denzel Perryman are in line to handle most of the Raiders' linebacker duties for the rest of the regular season.

This is excellent news after Brown, a pending unrestricted free agent, suffered a dislocated and fractured elbow back in November, ending his season. Brown suffered an elbow injury that cost him the final six games of the season. He was also impactful in the passing game, tying his career best in pass breakups despite the shortened campaign.
