Trey Millard: Headed to free-agent market
The Chiefs declined to renew Millard's (knee) contract for the 2017 season, Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star reports.
Millard signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs in January of 2016 but was stashed on injured reserve before the season started due to a torn ACL. When fully healthy, he should be able to help out a fullback-friendly team in training camp.

Chiefs' Trey Millard: Stashed on IR after suffering torn ACL
Millard (knee) was sent to the Chiefs' injured reserve list Wednesday.
Millard suffered a torn ACL during the Chiefs' preseason bout with the Rams. He reportedly already underwent surgery with Dr. James Andrews on Monday and will hopefully experience a full recovery in time for the 2017 campaign.
