Bears' Michael Ojemudia: Plays primarily on special teams
Rotowire
Ojemudia didn't post a tackle in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18 and ended the season with no statistics over two games played.
Ojemudia was signed by the Bears ahead of Week 17 after spending time with the Broncos earlier in the season. While with Denver, he played two defensive snaps and 23 snaps on special teams. He's under contract with the team through the 2023 season, and he'll likely compete for a roster spot in training camp.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Back at practice
Rotowire
Ojemudia (elbow) was designated to return from IR on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Ojemudia was able to practice with the team Tuesday as a result, and he could return to play as soon as Monday against the Chargers. However, he will need to be activated to the 53-man roster before then, which the team now has three weeks to do.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Dislocates elbow
Rotowire
Ojemudia suffered a dislocated elbow Saturday, Andrew Mason of 104.3 The Fan reports.
It's a really tough break for Ojemudia, who had been jockeying for depth chart positioning in an uber-competitive Broncos defensive backfield. He should still be in line to see the field in some capacity this season once he has fully recovered from his injury, but in the meantime, K'Waun Williams and Damarri Mathis will likely see most of Denver's reps at corner behind Patrick Surtain and Ronald Darby.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Activated from IR
Rotowire
Ojemudia (hamstring) was activated from IR on Saturday.
Ojemudia was injured during the preseason and it was expected his hamstring was more of a week-to-week issue, but this Sunday will be his first chance to play in 2021. Assuming the second-year pro is active Sunday against the Lions, he'll likely provide some depth in the secondary and snaps on special teams.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Suffers hamstring injury
Rotowire
Ojemudia (hamstring) is considered week-to-week but should be OK, according to Mike Klis of 9News Denver.
It was originally feared that Ojemudia suffered a knee injury in Saturday's 30-3 win over the Seahawks, but multiple sources indicate that the injury is related to his hamstring. The 23-year-old cornerback has had a solid training camp and preseason, but his playing time in the Denver defense likely will be limited going forward. The Broncos acquired Kyle Fuller, Ronald Darby and rookie Patrick Surtain this offseason, and this trio should see the majority of snaps in Denver's defensive backfield. Ojemudia's injury only muddies his situation more entering the 2021 season.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: All clear at OTAs
Rotowire
Ojemudia (knee) was a full participant during the Broncos' offseason work.
Ojemudia underwent a minor knee surgery this offseason, so it's a good sign to see the Iowa product back on the field so quickly. The 2020 third-round pick recorded 62 tackles (55 solo), six pass breakups and four forced fumbles in his rookie campaign, as he looks to make a jump in his second NFL season. The team signed veterans Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller, and also drafted cornerback Patrick Surtain in the first round, so it's unclear what sort of role Ojemudia will have in the defense heading into 2021.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Set for knee surgery
Rotowire
Ojemudia will undergo minor knee surgery in the near future, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
The 23-year-old played at least 75 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the final five games of the season, so it's unclear when he sustained the injury. Regardless, the minor surgery shouldn't significantly affect the rookie third-round pick's offseason work. Ojemudia finished the season with 62 tackles (55 solo), six passes defensed and four forced fumbles in 16 games.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Set to miss time
Rotowire
Head coach Vic Fangio said Ojemudia (quadriceps) will miss at least a week, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
The Broncos have a solid secondary but drafted Ojemudia in the third round of April's draft anyway, but missing more than a week in training camp could deflate his workload through the first couple of games. He wasn't going to be a top-two cornerback anyway with A.J. Bouye and Bryce Callahan on board.

Broncos' Michael Ojemudia: Third-round selection for Denver
Rotowire
The Broncos selected Ojemudia in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 77th overall.
The Broncos have A.J. Bouye outside and Bryce Callahan in the slot, but Ojemudia should prove helpful on the outside. At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, the former Iowa standout is a big corner with reach (32 and 1/4-inch arms) and plus athleticism (4.45-second 40-yard dash). The Iowa pass defense was tough throughout Ojemudia's college career, so he definitely checks a few boxes.
