Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Practices Thursday
Sneed (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday.
The cornerback had been dealing with a knee injury during training camp that forced him to miss several sessions. Now that he's back, he should be ready to play Monday night against the Broncos. Sneed returned to the Chiefs in the offseason following his release by the Titans.

Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Absent from Monday's practice
Sneed (knee) did not participate in Monday's practice, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Sneed recovered from a quadriceps injury that sidelined him for the final 10 contests of the Titans' 2025 season before he signed with the Chiefs this past offseason. The cornerback has unfortunately sustained yet another injury, and it is unclear how long this new knee issue will keep him out. With fellow projected starting cornerback Mansoor Delane (shoulder) also sidelined, Nohl Williams and Kristian Fulton will likely see a significant amount of preseason reps.

Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Reunites with Kansas City
Sneed (quadriceps) is slated to sign with the Chiefs, per NFL reporter Jordan Schultz.
Sneed was dealt from the Chiefs to the Titans in March 2024, but after two seasons in Tennessee, he'll now return to Kansas City. The 29-year-old struggled with injuries during his time with the Titans, appearing in just 12 of a possible 34 regular-season games. Most recently, Sneed missed Tennessee's final 10 contests in 2025 due to a quadriceps injury. However, his intention to sign with the Chiefs suggests he's moved past that issue. With Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie both joining the Rams this offseason, Sneed will likely step in and operate as one of Kansas City's top boundary corners during the 2026 season.

L'Jarius Sneed: Out in Tennessee
Sneed (quadriceps) was released by the Titans on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Despite signing a four-year, $76.4 million deal with the Titans in March of 2024, Sneed has been dropped after spending just two seasons with the team. During his two years in Tennessee, the 29-year-old appeared in just 12 games, tallying 49 total tackles and three passes defensed. Despite his underwhelming stint with the Titans, Sneed was one of the NFL's top cornerbacks in 2023, recording 14 passes defensed, including two interceptions, while allowing just a 56.2 passer rating when targeted across 16 regular-season games with the Chiefs. At the scouting combine, Titans' general manager Mike Borgonzi told reporters Sneed was undergoing rehab on a quadriceps injury that held him out of the team's final 10 games last season. Once fully healthy, Sneed is expected to draw interest from teams in need of secondary help ahead of the 2026 season.

Titans' L'Jarius Sneed: Minimal impact in 2025
Sneed (quadriceps) recorded 26 tackles (18 solo) with three passes defensed across seven games in 2025.
Sneed was expected to become a key part of Tennessee's defense when he signed a four-year, $76.4 million contract ahead of the 2024 season. Instead, he's combined to appear in only 12 games across two campaigns while failing to record an interception. Sneed missed the Titans' last 10 games of 2025 with a quad injury, and he's very likely to be cut before the new league year.
