JJ Molson: Waived by Green Bay
The Packers waived Molson on Friday.
Molson spent the entire 2021 season on the Packers' practice squad as an emergency option behind Mason Crosby and signed a reserve/future deal this offseason. However, the UCLA product has been let go in favor of Dominik Eberle, who Green Bay signed at the end of February. Crosby is expected to resume his usual role in 2022 for the time being, but after a poor campaign last year, he isn't guaranteed to stick around.

JJ Molson: Back from COVID list
Molson was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
The kicker was placed on the COVID list Dec. 31, missing the Packers' Week 17 win over the Vikings. Although he has been restored, it's unlikely that Molson will have any impact in Week 18 and beyond while operating as a reserve option behind starter Mason Crosby.

JJ Molson: Waived by Green Bay
The Packers waived Molson on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com reports.
Molson was a long shot to make the roster with Mason Crosby still in town. The UDFA out of UCLA spent time on the Chargers' practice squad last year and will likely find a similar role somewhere else for the 2021 campaign.

Packers' JJ Molson: Receives future contract
Molson signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Molson joined the Packers' practice squad in December after being cut by the Chargers, and he'll stick with Green Bay to begin the offseason. He's the only kicker on the roster besides veteran Mason Crosby.

JJ Molson: Signs in Green Bay
Molson signed with the Packers' practice squad Tuesday.
The Packers are bringing in Molson to serve as an emergency backup to Mason Crosby, who has been automatic this year. An undrafted rookie, Molson struggled in his senior season at UCLA, connecting on just eight of 14 field-goal attempts (57 percent).
