  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Zero touches in loss to Bengals

Turner returned two punts for 30 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals, but he was not targeted in the passing game. Turner's offensive snap share dipped to 34.0 percent while the newly signed Ramel Keyton emerged behind fellow wide receivers Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker, with Turner ultimately being held without a single touch for the first time since Week 3. Ahead of the Raiders' Week 10 bye, Turner has posted a 10-99-1 receiving line on 21 total targets through the first nine games of the season.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: First career receiving TD in loss

Turner caught all four of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Kansas City. He also rushed once for four yards and returned a punt for 17 yards. His offensive snap share dipped to 53 percent with Jakobi Meyers back in the lineup, but Turner still out-produced Tre Tucker, who finished the contest with a 2-26-0 receiving line. Turner has caught eight total passes for 78 yards and a score over the Raiders' past three games, and they're expected to be playing from behind again in Week 9 against the Bengals.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Targeted seven times Sunday

Turner caught two of seven targets for 13 yards and also returned one punt for seven yards in Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Rams. Turner logged 75 of a possible 79 offensive snaps while earning a career-high seven targets with fellow wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) inactive for a second straight game, but the attention given to Turner from quarterbacks Aidan O'Connell (thumb) and Gardner Minshew didn't amount to much fantasy production. Meyers' potential Week 8 return from injury would result in a demotion for Turner into the No. 3 role, but he remains somewhat relevant following Davante Adams' departure to the Jets. Regardless, rookie sensation Brock Bowers continues to command a significant portion of the target share among this struggling aerial attack.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Makes two receptions in loss

Turner hauled in two of four targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers. The third-year wideout drew the start across from Tre Tucker in the absence of both Davante Adams (hamstring) and Jakobi Meyers (ankle), with Turner ultimately logging 42 of 63 offensive snaps. His day was highlighted by a 30-yard reception on the Raiders' final drive of the third quarter, which marked the team's only play of 20-plus yards in the entire contest. Turner has seen exactly four targets in back-to-back games, but Meyers at least appears on track to return from his ankle injury in Week 7 against the Rams.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Nursing hamstring injury

Turner was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice session due to a hamstring injury. Turner made his first career start in Week 5 against the Broncos and finished with one catch (on four targets) for 12 yards while adding five rushing yards on one carry. He seems to be banged up coming out of that contest, but his ability to practice in some capacity Wednesday suggests that he's still on track to play Sunday against the Steelers. With Davante Adams (hamstring) likely to remain out Week 6, Turner should be in store for another healthy snap share.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Targeted four times in loss

Turner caught one of four targets for 12 yards and added five rushing yards on his lone carry in Sunday's 34-18 loss to the Broncos. Turner drew the first official start of his three-year career next to Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker, with Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined for Sunday's contest, but Turner didn't contribute much despite logging a season-high 52 offensive snaps. He could remain quite active in three-wide sets if Adams forces his way out of Las Vegas, as trade rumors continue to swirl ahead of a Week 6 matchup against the Steelers.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Scores first career touchdown

Turner rushed once for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns. His 42 percent snap share marked a season high and came with Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined. Although Turner failed to haul in his only target, the 27-year-old hit pay dirt on an 18-yard end-around in the third quarter for his first career touchdown. Expect a similar role for Turner behind starters Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker in Week 5 against the Broncos if Adams remains out with the hamstring injury.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Active for Monday's game

Turner (shoulder) is active for Monday's game against the Chiefs. Turner was listed as questionable to suit up Christmas Day after turning in DNP/DNP/LP practice results Week 16, but he's available for the Raiders in Kansas City. He stands to handle his usual role as a special-teams contributor Monday, having played just six offensive snaps across seven appearances this season.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: No snaps on offense Week 14

Turner played all 16 of his snaps on special teams in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Vikings. Turner has been active for each of Las Vegas' last six games, but all but three of his 102 snaps have come on special teams. He doesn't look as though he'll factor into the Raiders' receiver rotation anytime soon with Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow available.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Up from practice squad again

Turner was elevated off the practice squad by the Raiders on Saturday. The wide receiver signed with Las Vegas' practice squad Oct. 16 and now has been elevated from it for three weeks in a row. The second-year pro has played in 11 games and 24 offensive snaps over two NFL seasons. Turner has yet to record a catch in the league.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Bumps to active roster Saturday

The Raiders activated Turner from the practice squad Saturday. The second-year wideout has spent the majority of the season on Las Vegas' practice squad, but with the team waiving Kristian Wilkerson on Saturday, Turner has been brought up to the active roster. Turner played strictly on special teams during his lone appearance this season.

  • DJ Turner: Reverts to practice squad

Turner reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday. Turner played 14 snaps on special teams during Las Vegas' loss to the Lions on Monday and managed to record a tackle on a kick return. The 26-year-old will now await his next opportunity to be called up for action.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Promoted to active roster

The Raiders elevated Turner to the active roster Monday. Turner joined the Raiders' practice squad on Oct. 16 after being let go by the team with an injury settlement during training camp. • DJ Turner: Waived with an injury designation

The Raiders (undisclosed) waived Turner with an injury designation Saturday. Turner signed a reserve/future deal with the Raiders in January after primarily playing special teams across nine appearances in 2022. The undrafted product out of Pittsburgh was competing for a roster spot during training camp before suffering the undisclosed injury. If Turner clears waivers, he'll revert to the Raiders' injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Sticking with Las Vegas

The Raiders signed Turner to a reserve/future contract Monday. Turner sustained an ankle injury during Las Vegas' season opener that landed him on IR for the next four games. The 5-foot-9 receiver then returned Week 7 against Houston and dealt with hamstring and head injuries before he was waived Dec. 17. Turner then re-joined the Raiders via the practice squad, and he ultimately finished the 2022 campaign with one target while primarily playing on special teams across nine games. The 25-year-old will now land his second reserve/future contract with Las Vegas in as many years, leaving him to once again compete for a reserve role heading into the 2023 season.

  • DJ Turner: Back on Raiders' practice squad

The Raiders signed Turner to their practice squad Tuesday. Turner, who was waived by Las Vegas on Saturday, has since agreed to return to the team's practice squad and serve as an emergency depth option to the Raiders' wide receiver corps.

  • DJ Turner: Done in Las Vegas

The Raiders waived Turner on Saturday. Provided he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period, Turner is set to become an unrestricted free agent and will have to look for another opportunity with a different team. He failed to haul in his only target in nine games this season, but he did take four carries for 26 yards.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Plays just two snaps Sunday

Turner was on the field for two of the Raiders' 70 snaps on offense in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Colts. Hunter Renfrow's (oblique) move to injured reserve in advance of the Week 10 contest ultimately didn't result in a notable change in playing time for Turner, who bumped up to fourth on the depth chart at receiver behind Davante Adams, Mack Hollins and Keelan Cole. Turner, a second-year player out of Pittsburgh, has yet to log a target in five appearances on the season but has carried three times for 20 yards.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Ditches injury report

Turner (head) was not listed on Las Vegas' injury report Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game at Jacksonville, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Turner exited the Raiders' loss at New Orleans in Week 8 early with a head injury, but he's evidently recovered fully since. The 25-year-old receiver saw the first offensive snaps of his young NFL career in Weeks 7 and 8, and with Davante Adams (illness) and Mack Hollins (heel) both still limited, he could be in line for more of the same Sunday.

  • Raiders' DJ Turner: Questionable to return

Turner is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Saints with a head injury. Turner was officially designated with a face injury, though the exact nature of this issue is unclear. The 5-foot-9 receiver returned one punt and one kickoff before exiting Sunday's contest, and his absence should leave Hunter Renfrow and Ameer Abdullah to handle these responsibilities.
