Helm caught both of his targets for 13 yards in the Titans' 24-20 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Through two games, Helm has six grabs for 40 scoreless yards on seven targets. He's unlikely to be a productive fantasy option in a Tennessee passing offense that has been anemic so far this season.

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Secures four passes in loss
Helm caught four of five targets for 28 yards in the Titans' 23-10 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Helm's five targets trailed both Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson, as the duo drew six targets apiece to lead the team in Week 1. Even more importantly for Helm's fantasy prospects, he ran 22 routes to Daniel Bellinger's five, suggesting he's well ahead of Bellinger on the depth chart as a pass catcher. Helm will be a lower-end TE2 next Sunday against the Eagles.

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Ends preseason with one catch
Helm finished the preseason slate with one catch (on two targets) for 16 yards in two appearances.
Helm joined the rest of the healthy starters to kick off preseason Weeks 1 and 2, logging 26 offensive snaps between the two contests. He then was rested in Saturday's exhibition finale against the Bears along with QB Cam Ward and company. A fourth-round pick in the 2025 Draft, Helm hauled in 44 of 55 targets for 357 yards and two touchdowns in 16 regular-season games as a rookie, and he'll be looking to build upon those numbers in Year 2 under new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Productive on one catch
Helm brought in his only target for 16 yards in the Titans' 19-13 preseason win over the 49ers on Thursday.
With Chig Okonkwo now in Washington, Helm is set to operate as the Titans' unquestioned No. 1 tight end in 2026. Consequently, the second-year pro was on the field with the rest of the starters to open Thursday's game, and he flashed on his one reception, which came during the Titans' opening possession. Helm's 16-yard grab moved the ball into 49ers territory and put his ability to gain yards after the catch on display. Helm already managed a 44-357-2 line across 16 regular-season games in a rotational role as a rookie in 2025, so fantasy expectations are understandably elevated now that Okonkwo is no longer a competitor for Cam Ward's attention.

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Drawing praise entering Year 2
Titans head coach Robert Saleh has praised Helm's physical development this offseason and named the tight end as a player who "hopefully" will "take a big jump" during the 2026 season, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Helm set a franchise rookie tight end record with 44 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns while suiting up for 16 regular-season games in 2025. Added competition may limit his fantasy ceiling, but a strong offseason would give Helm a chance to earn a larger role in Tennessee's offense, and the departure of Chig Okonkwo for the Commanders opens up notable receiving opportunities. Titans' Gunnar Helm: Past toe injury
Helm (toe) is participating in OTAs this week, Buck Reising of AtoZ Sports Nashville reports.
Helm missed the Titans' regular-season finale back in January but appears to be back to full health after compiling 44 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns on 55 targets as a rookie last season. With Chig Okonkwo now with the Commanders, Helm looks poised to win the TE1 job with the Titans this summer. His main competition for playing time will come from blocking types Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson.
