Packers' Jager Burton: Returns to practice Sunday
Burton (hamstring) participated in Sunday's training camp practice, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Burton pulled a hamstring during drills in Thursday's practice, but the rookie fifth-rounder was cleared to return for Sunday's session. He figures to serve as the Packers' backup center behind Sean Rhyan for the upcoming season.

Packers' Jager Burton: Missing training camp practice
Burton is missing the Packers' training camp practice Thursday after pulling a muscle while doing drills, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
It sounds like whatever Burton is dealing with is probably not a long-term concern, and Green Bay hasn't given any indication it plans to place the lineman on the PUP list. Donovan Jennings is a candidate to handle any practice reps Burton misses.

Packers' Jager Burton: Heads to Green Bay
The Packers selected Burton in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 153rd overall.
Burton played all three positions of the interior defensive line as a four-year starter at Kentucky, ultimately settling in as a center in his final season. The 23-year-old is an impressive athlete with a 4.94 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 312 pounds, and while he needs to polish some of his technical skills, he should be a dependable backup for the Packers heading into 2026.
