  • Jaguars' Josh Cameron: Catches TD in win over Cleveland

Cameron caught both of his targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 34-10 win over the Browns on Sunday.

The sixth-round rookie wideout played well ahead of Travis Hunter, out-snapping him by a 19-4 margin behind the Jaguars' top trio of Parker Washington, Brian Thomas and Jakobi Meyers at wideout. Cameron ended up catching Trevor Lawrence's second touchdown, a four-yard score toward the end of the first quarter. Cameron would appear to have the lead for WR4 duties in Jacksonville.

  • Jaguars' Josh Cameron: Two catches against Carolina

Cameron caught both his targets for 41 yards in Friday's 34-17 preseason loss to the Panthers.

The 2026 sixth-round pick made both his receptions in the first quarter with Nick Mullens under center, as the Jaguars rested their likely Week 1 starters on offense. Cameron is battling fellow sixth-round rookie C.J. Williams for a spot on the gameday roster, but neither should be expected to see a significant role unless injuries to Parker Washington (undisclosed) and Jakobi Meyers (hand) linger into the regular season.

  • Jaguars' Josh Cameron: Logs one reception in first preseason game

Cameron caught one of three targets for 17 yards Saturday in a 24-20 preseason win over New Orleans. He also returned one punt for 10 yards and one kick for 25 yards.

Cameron's lone catch came early in the first quarter on a connection with Nick Mullens. The rookie wideout also contributed in the return game, which may suggest that he'll have a role in that regard during the regular season. Cameron has a tough path to opportunities as a pass catcher, however, as all of Brian Thomas, Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Travis Hunter are firmly ahead of him on the depth chart.

  • Jaguars' Josh Cameron: Added by Jacksonville

The Jaguars selected Cameron in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 191st overall.

Cameron (6-foot-1, 220 pounds) played five years at Baylor and started every game in each of his final two seasons, making use of his big-bodied frame to total 19 touchdowns from 2024-25. As a rookie with Jacksonville, Cameron may successfully carve out opportunities as a situational big-play threat, but to earn a larger role than that at the NFL level he'll need to make significant developmental strides as a route runner. With Brian Thomas, Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington and dual DB/WR Travis Hunter (knee) all demanding opportunities in the Jaguars' wide receiver room, there likely won't be many snaps for Cameron to compete with against Tim Jones, Austin Trammell and Chandler Brayboy.
