Schmitz got rolled up on during a fourth-and-short play in the first quarter. He doesn't appear worried about the injury keeping him out long term, but he will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. Schmitz started in all 13 regular-season games he appeared in last season, and he will resume his starting role at center for 2024.
