The inside linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the 11th time in 13 games. The first-year Steeler popped up on Pittsburgh's injury report Thursday as a non-participant in practice, but after a full session Friday, it appears he's moved past his groin issue. Queen will look to rebound from a relatively disappointing Steelers debut in which he recorded just two total tackles while playing 50 defensive snaps.

Ravens' Patrick Queen: Continues upward trajectory in '23
Rotowire
Queen finished the regular season with a career-high 133 tackles to go with six pass breakups, 3.5 sacks and one interception. He appeared in all 17 games and played a career-high 1,073 snaps.
After making it through a learning curve in his first two seasons, Queen has come into his own as a major factor in the Baltimore defense. He has logged a combined 250 tackles over the last two seasons and racked up 8.5 sacks in that span. Queen still has some limitations in coverage, having allowed three touchdowns to his assignments, but he also held his opponents to 5.5 YPA when he was targeted this season. The Ravens did not pick up Queen's fifth-year option, so he will be a free agent this coming offseason. Baltimore will have some tough calls to make on that front with the ascendent Justin Madubuike also up for a new deal. The Ravens are already paying Roquan Smith a hefty sum, and it's unclear whether they will be able to pony up another big contract in their linebacking corps.

Rotowire
Queen had a career year in 2022 by setting new career highs in tackles (117), sacks (5.0), interceptions (2) and pass breakups (6).
The former first-round pick delivered on his potential this season and cemented himself as a key part of what was a strong Baltimore defense. Queen was better at finding the ballcarrier and was relied upon for more snaps as he bested his previous career high by 125 reps. Baltimore can pick up Queen's fifth-year option this offseason, and his performance, especially in 2022, should lay the groundwork for that to happen.
