Rotowire
Aubrey knocked down his lone field-goal attempt from 29 yards and went 3-for-3 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the 49ers.
Aubrey didn't practice in any capacity in Week 8 while he was away from the team on jury duty, but he made the flight to San Francisco and was as sharp as ever in the few scoring opportunities that were presented to him. Through seven appearances on the season, Aubrey has knocked down all 12 of his extra-point attempts and 18 of 20 field-goal tries, including an 8-for-9 mark from 50-plus yards.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Traveling with team to SF
Rotowire
Aubrey (personal) is traveling with the Cowboys to San Francisco ahead of Sunday's Week 8 contest versus the 49ers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Aubrey served jury duty this week, preventing him from practicing in any capacity. However, he's with the Cowboys on the team's flight to San Francisco on Saturday, eliminating any doubt about the talented kicker being able to suit up Sunday. Aubrey has been excellent again for Dallas this season, converting 17 of 19 field-goal attempts, including eight of nine from 50-plus yards.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Expected to be available Sunday
Rotowire
Aubrey won't practice Thursday for the second straight day while away on jury duty, but head coach Mike McCarthy said that the Cowboys "have a plan to make sure he's ready to go" for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Though the organization was willing to pursue an exemption that would allow Aubrey to bypass jury duty, the 29-year-old was reportedly insistent on fulfilling his civic responsibility after he was selected to be part of a 12-person jury for a felony assault case in Tarrant County, Texas. Per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys have an expectation that the judge overseeing the assault case will be willing to accommodate the kicker's schedule, which will allow him to potentially practice Friday and play Sunday even if the case isn't resolved by then. Aubrey has been one of the top fantasy kickers this season, converting all nine of his extra-point tries and 17 of 19 field-goal attempts, which includes an 8-for-9 mark from 50-plus yards.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Records only Dallas offense in loss
Rotowire
Aubrey connected on all three of his field-goal attempts but didn't get an extra-point try in Sunday's 47-9 loss to the Lions.
The second-year kicker was good from 34, 47 and 50 yards, but the Dallas offense otherwise struggled. Aubrey heads into the Cowboys' bye tied with the Commanders' Austin Seibert for the league lead in total points at 60, and tied with the Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn for the most FG makes from 50 yards or more (eight).

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Sets franchise record Sunday
Rotowire
Aubrey converted both his field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in Sunday's loss to the Ravens.
The Cowboys failed on a pair of two-point conversions in the fourth quarter as they tried to rally from a 28-6 deficit, costing Aubrey a couple points, but the second-year kicker remains perfect on the season, going 10-for-10 on field goals and 5-for-5 on PATs. His first FG on Sunday also came from an incredible 65 yards out -- the longest kick in Dallas history, and the second longest in NFL history after Justin Tucker's 66-yarder from 2021. Aubrey could be a lot busier against a less fearsome opponent in Week 4's clash with the Giants on Thursday night.

Rotowire
Aubrey converted his only extra-point try and all four of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 44-19 loss to the Saints.
The Cowboys had trouble finishing off drives Sunday, giving Aubrey plenty of chances to show off his big leg -- his longest field goal went for 52 yards in the first quarter. His 28 points through two games leads all kickers, following up a rookie season in 2023 that saw him lead the NFL with 157 points. Aubrey could be busy again in Week 3 against a Ravens team that's allowed six field-goal attempts through two weeks.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Kicks 66-yarder against Vegas
Rotowire
Aubrey converted both his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders, including a 66-yard FG just before halftime.
Had it been the regular season, that kick from the Cowboys' side of midfield would have tied for the longest field goal in NFL history, matching the record set by Justin Tucker in 2021. Aubrey established himself as one of the best placekickers in the league as a rookie in 2023, and the 29-year-old shows no signs of becoming a one-year wonder.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Away from team
Rotowire
Aubrey has yet to rejoin the Cowboys at training camp following the birth of his first child, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
The kicker played in Sunday's preseason game against the Rams, converting four of five field-goal attempts with his only miss coming from 65 yards out, but he immediately jumped on a plane afterward to be with his wife. Aubrey is coming off a record-setting rookie season in which he led the NFL in made field goals with 36 and points with 157, and he should again be one of the most productive kicking options in the league in 2024 with a Dak Prescott-led offense at his back.
Aubrey converted 36 of 38 field-goal attempts and 49 of 52 extra-point attempts over 17 regular-season games in 2023.
Signed out of the USFL in the offseason, Aubrey missed his first kick attempt in the NFL on a Week 1 PAT but then went on to set a new NFL record by making 35 straight FG attempts to begin his career. He led the league in scoring with 157 points, and barring any major changes in the offseason to the Cowboys' potent offense, Aubrey figures to be among the top fantasy options at his position in 2024.

Aubrey then clanked a 36-yard attempt off the left upright in the fourth quarter before finally drilling a 50-yarder to wrap up the scoring for Dallas. Aubrey finishes his first regular season as the NFL's leading scorer with 157 points, going 36-of-38 on FG attempts and 49-of-52 on PATs, and he figures to be busy again Sunday in the wild-card round as the Cowboys host the Packers.

The rookie kicker continues to extend his NFL record of 33 straight successful field goals to begin a career, and he leads the league in scoring with 141 points. Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Sets another record Sunday
Rotowire
Aubrey made all four of his field-goal attempts and three extra-point tries in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Eagles.
Aubrey had an impressive Week 14 from all angles, making three field goals from 50-plus yards, including a 59 and 60-yarder, and becoming the first player in NFL history to make two attempts of 59 yards or more in the same game. His other attempts came from 45 and 50 yards out. The rookie kicker out of Notre Dame has yet to miss an FGA on the season and now sits at a perfect 30-for-30. Three PAT misses on 42 tries are the lone blemishes on his season. Aubrey and the Cowboys will next travel to Buffalo for a Week 15 matchup.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Stays perfect on FGs
Rotowire
Aubrey connected on a 52-yard field-goal attempt and converted four of five extra point attempts in a 45-10 rout of the Commanders on Thursday.
The rookie kicker has missed PATs in back-to-back games and has shanked three in total on 36 attempts through 11 games, but Aubrey remains perfect on FGs, extending his NFL record to begin a career to 22 straight makes. With the Cowboys' offense firing on all cylinders, however, he's seen fewer field goals in recent weeks, limiting his fantasy ceiling heading into the Week 13 meeting with a Seattle team that's given up 22.6 points a game, 22nd in the league.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Sets new NFL record
Rotowire
Aubrey successfully converted one field-goal attempt and two extra-point attempts in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
While he didn't see a lot of volume, Aubrey's 51-yard kick straight down the middle of the uprights late in the second quarter not only gave Dallas a 17-14 lead, it set a new NFL record -- the rookie kicker has begun his career with 19 straight successful field goals, breaking the old mark of 18 set by Travis Coons in 2015. Aubrey's also missed only one of his PAT attempts this season, and he'll look to keep rolling in Week 10 against the Giants.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Perfect run continues
Rotowire
Aubrey connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and all three of his PATs in Sunday's 38-3 rout of the Patriots.
Since missing his very first attempt in the NFL, an extra point in the first quarter back in Week 1, Aubrey has been perfect. The former USFL kicker has drilled 13 straight FGs and nine straight PATs, and the Cowboys' penchant for generating points on defense as well as offense has kept Aubrey plenty busy. he may need to cash in every opportunity he gets in Week 5, in what should be a much more competitive contest against the undefeated 49ers.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Kicker to Start
Rotowire
Aubrey should be viewed as a No. 1 Fantasy kicker in Week 3 at Arizona and likely for the rest of the season. He's made seven field goals through the first two games, along with five extra points, and the Cowboys should continue to give him plenty of scoring chances on a weekly basis. The Cardinals shouldn't slow down the Dallas offense, and Aubrey has top-five upside in this matchup on the road.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Misses extra point against Jags
Rotowire
Aubrey connected on his only field-goal attempt and converted two of three extra-point attempts in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars.
The former USFL player is the only kicker currently in camp for the Cowboys, but Aubrey didn't build up any job security with his missed PAT in his first preseason action with the team. It still remains likely that Dallas will bring in competition for the 28-year-old before Week 1.

Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Lone kicker left
Rotowire
Aubrey went 7-for-9 on field-goal attempts Monday in his first practice since the Cowboys waived Tristan Vizcaino, Saad Yousef of The Athletic reports.
"We're comfortable [at kicker]," owner/GM Jerry Jones said after the practice. "We're excited about what we've seen. We're excited about how he got here. He's having a real solid camp. We're very comfortable going into the season with him." Despite Jones' endorsement, Aubrey's performance so far in training camp hasn't been so good that the team is closing the door on adding competition for the rookie. "The option of a veteran kicker, that's still a possibility," coach Mike McCarthy said. Aubrey could wind up being a productive fantasy asset riding shotgun for a potent Dallas offense if he does begin the season with the kicking job, but until the former USFL player proves himself in the NFL, he'll be a risky option.
