Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Best game of season Sunday
Godwin brought in three of five targets for 78 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-17 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Godwin led the Buccaneers in receiving yards with a total that also served as a season high. The veteran wideout had a much more subdued performance in his Week 12 return from a five-game absence due to a fibula injury, but an increase in snaps and the ability of Baker Mayfield to play a full game helped Godwin's cause Sunday. Godwin, who also dropped a very catchable would-be touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield, should be in line for even more opportunity during a Week 14 home matchup against the Saints next Sunday.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Full listing Thursday
Godwin (fibula) was listed as full on Thursday's injury report.
Godwin followed up Wednesday's limited walkthrough with all listed activity a day later, thereby paving the way for him to continue being a part of the Buccaneers' passing game Sunday versus the Cardinals. In his first action since Week 5 this past Sunday at the Rams after dealing with a fibula injury, Godwin operated with restrictions on his way to two catches (on four targets) for nine yards on a 36 percent snap share.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Limited at walkthrough
Godwin (fibula) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough.
In his return to action this past Sunday at the Rams, Godwin took on a smaller workload than normal, logging a 34 percent snap share on his way to two catches (on four targets) for nine yards. His fibula injury continues to bother him, as evidenced by that and Wednesday's capped session, with Friday's injury report set to reveal if he has a designation for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Two catches in return
Godwin recorded two receptions on four targets for nine yards in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Rams.
Godwin was active for only the third time this season and for the first time since Week 5. He had an underwhelming stat line, though the entire Tampa Bay offense was stifled. Godwin could see improved results in a Week 13 matchup against Arizona, though that will be very dependent on the ability of Baker Mayfield (shoulder) to suit up.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Returns to action Sunday
Godwin (fibula) is listed as active Sunday at the Rams, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Godwin had a delayed start to the season due to his recovery from last season's dislocated left ankle, and after playing Weeks 4 and 5, he's since been sidelined due to a fibula injury. He finally capped Week 12 prep with back-to-back full practices, after which the Buccaneers cleared him to return to action. On Saturday evening, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported that Godwin was set to operate with restrictions on his workload Sunday, so he'll likely play second fiddle, at least, to rookie first-round pick Emeka Egbuka in Tampa Bay's receiving corps. In his two appearances this season, Godwin wasn't efficient with his 14 targets, gathering in just six of them for 52 yards and no touchdowns.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Set to play with restrictions
Godwin (fibula), who is officially questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Rams, is expected to suit up but will "likely be on something of a pitch count," Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Assuming the Buccaneers officially clear Godwin when they release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, the wideout will be in line for his first game action since Week 5 after missing five consecutive games due to a hairline fracture of his fibula. His return will provide a boost to Tampa Bay's receiving corps, which will still be without Mike Evans (collarbone) and Jalen McMillan (neck). Even so, fantasy managers should take note of Godwin likely being on a snap count Sunday, with the potential limitations coupled with a tough matchup versus the Rams perhaps suppressing his production. Godwin -- who also missed the first three games of the campaign while recovering from left ankle surgery -- tallied six catches for 52 yards on 14 targets over two games prior to sitting out due to the fractured fibula.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Expected to return Week 12
Godwin (fibula) is expected to be play in Sunday night's game against the Rams, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Godwin drew the questionable tag for Sunday's game after posting an LP-FP-LP practice log during Week 12 prep, but the veteran wide receiver is on track to return from a five-game absence due to a fibula injury. It's unclear whether he will operate on a snap count Sunday, but his return would mean less targets to go around for Tez Johnson, Sterling Shepard and Cade Otton. Godwin has appeared in just two regular-season games in 2025, recording six catches (on 14 targets) for 52 yards.

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Officially questionable
Godwin (fibula) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams after logging a limited practice Friday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Earlier Friday, Bucs coach Todd Bowles said Godwin is on track to play Sunday night. The veteran wideout upgraded to full practice participation Thursday, before dropping back to 'limited' Friday to close out the week. It sounds like that was just maintenance, not indicative of any setback, but fantasy managers should still keep an eye on the situation ahead of an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Trending toward playing
Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles confirmed Friday that Godwin (fibula) is on track to play Sunday against the Rams, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
It nonetheless remains to be seen if Godwin will avoid a game designation on the final injury report. He was a full practice participant Thursday for the first time since early October.
