Packers' Eric Stokes: Two tackles vs. Philadelphia
Stokes finished Friday's 34-29 loss to the Eagles with two tackles (one solo).
It was a low tackling output by Stokes, but he did play 65 of the Packers' 76 defensive snaps Friday as the starting corner opposite Jaire Alexander. Stokes has appeared in just 13 regular-season games over the past three years after appearing in 16 contests in his rookie season in 2021. The 25-year-old corner is looking to make an impact in Green Bay's secondary and earn a hefty contract after his fifth-year option was declined in May.

Packers' Eric Stokes: Healthy once again
Stokes (hamstring) has been participating in OTAs this week, Zach Kruse of USA Today reports.
Injuries have hampered Stokes' last two seasons, but the third-year pro is feeling good in preparation for the 2024 campaign. The 25-year-old had the fifth-year option of his rookie option denied earlier in May, but a healthy and successful season could help earn him an extension next offseason.

Packers' Eric Stokes: 2025 option denied
Stokes (hamstring) will not have his fifth-year option exercised by the Packers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Stokes had a successful rookie campaign after Green Bay selected him in the first round of the 2021 Draft, but he's had trouble staying on the field since. The Georgia product appeared in just three games in 2023, while suiting up nine times in 2022. If he can remain healthy this season though, he should be able to make an impact in Green Bay's secondary and is expected to start opposite Jaire Alexander at corner.

Packers' Eric Stokes: Done for season
Stokes (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Stokes appeared in each of the Packers' last two games since coming off injured reserve in mid-December, but it seems as if his hamstring issue is bothering him once again and he'll now miss the remainder of the season. The 2021 first-round pick has really struggled to stay on the field over the past two years, playing in just 12 of Green Bay's 32 games. Stokes' move to IR likely makes room for Carrington Valentine to start in the Packers' secondary over the next two weeks.

Packers' Eric Stokes: Out Week 17
Stokes will not play in Sunday's matchup with the Vikings due to a hamstring injury.
Stokes was a late addition to the Packers' injury report with a hamstring injury that has been lingering with him for a while. With Jaire Alexander (suspension) also sidelined, Green Bay will be thin at cornerback. Thus, Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine are the likely candidates to step up in the secondary.

Packers' Eric Stokes: Will make return Week 15
Stokes (hamstring) is active to face the Buccaneers on Sunday, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Stokes was activated from injured reserve Saturday and will suit up Sunday for the first time since Week 7. In his only game so far this season, the cornerback logged zero defensive snaps and four special-teams snaps before hurting his hamstring. Stokes' return Sunday will provide extra depth in the Packers' defensive backfield with Jaire Alexander missing another contest due to a shoulder injury.
