The Seahawks waived Harden on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Harden joined the Seahawks on Aug. 5, two days after being let go by the Browns. He played in Seattle's preseason opener against Dallas on Saturday, when he logged 12 snaps (nine on offense, three on special teams) and turned two carries into one yard while recovering a fumble on a punt. Harden -- an undrafted rookie out of SMU -- will look to catch on with a team in need of a running back who can also contribute on special teams.

Seahawks' TJ Harden: Signs with Seahawks
Rotowire
Seattle signed Harden on Wednesday, Ari Horton of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Just a couple days after being cut by Cleveland, Harden is already getting another chance with a new squad. He's likely a long shot to make the 53-man roster, competing with names like Zach Charbonnet (knee), rookie first-rounder Jadarian Price, George Holani and free agent acquisition Emanuel Wilson.

TJ Harden: Let go by Cleveland
Rotowire
The Browns waived Harden on Monday.
The undrafted free agent out of SMU was deemed expendable at a crowded position spearheaded by Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson. If Harden is not claimed off waivers, he will become a free agent. The roster spot opened by the waiving of Harden was filled with the signing of defensive tackle Travis Bell.

Browns' TJ Harden: Headed to Cleveland
Rotowire
The Browns signed Harden as an undrafted free agent Friday.
Harden spent three years at UCLA before transferring to SMU in 2025. The running back appeared in 13 games for the Mustangs, producing 787 yards and nine touchdowns on 171 carries and recording 19 receptions for 99 yards and one additional score. Similar to fellow undrafted free agent Davon Booth, it will likely be very difficult for Harden to earn a spot in a running back room dominated by accomplished young incumbent talent like Quinshon Judkins (ankle) and Dylan Sampson.
