  • Seahawks' Jacardia Wright: Signs reserve/future contract

White (undisclosed) signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. The running back was placed on the practice squad injured list in September and ended the season there, too. Wright did appear in one September game before the injury, playing on five offensive snaps and three special-teams snaps while recording five carries for 20 yards.

  • Jacardia Wright: Reverts to Seattle's practice squad

Wright reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Wright was elevated to the Seahawks' active roster for the first time Sunday, when he played eight snaps (five on offense, three on special teams) in a 44-13 win over the Saints. He finished the game with five carries for 20 yards, all of which came in garbage time during Seattle's blowout victory. Zach Charbonnet was unable to play due to a foot injury, and Wright would be a candidate to be elevated for the Seahawks' Week 4 clash against the Cardinals on Thursday if the former is not cleared to play.

  • Seahawks' Jacardia Wright: Joins roster for Week 3

The Seahawks elevated Wright from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday. The Seahawks are likely to be without Zach Charbonnet (foot), who is officially listed as doubtful, for Sunday's game against New Orleans. That will leave George Holani as the second back on the depth chart, while Wright could be active and contribute primarily on special teams.

  • Seahawks' Jacardia Wright: Breaks off 61-yard run

Wright rushed five times for 65 yards in Saturday's 20-7 preseason loss to the Seahawks. The Seahawks couldn't get much going on offense in the preseason finale, but Wright's 61-yard run in the second quarter was a bright spot for the team. Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and George Holani all sat out Saturday and appear locked into roster spots, so it's likely between Wright and rookie seventh-round pick Damien Martinez for the No. 4 role.
