Texans' Will Anderson: Cleared to play vs. Jacksonville
Anderson (quadriceps) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Anderson ended Week 10 prep with a full practice Friday and has been cleared to play after working through a minor quadriceps injury. The third-year pass rusher has recorded a sack in three consecutive games, and his 6.0 sacks (through eight regular-season games) leads the Texans and is tied for 11th most in the NFL.

Texans' Will Anderson: Doesn't participate in practice
Anderson (quadriceps) didn't participate in Houston's practice Wednesday.
Anderson popped up on the injury report Wednesday, though it's currently unclear how he injured his quadriceps. The 2023 first-round pick has recorded 24 tackles (16 solo), including 6.0 sacks, across eight outings but is now in danger of missing his first game of the campaign if he can't suit up for Sunday's game versus Jacksonville.

Texans' Will Anderson: Adds to sack total in Week 9 win
Anderson registered 1.0 sacks and a pass defense during the Texans' 26-15 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
Anderson was quiet for most of Week 8, but he took down Mac Jones for a 10-yard sack late in the fourth quarter for his first tackle of the game. Anderson is up to 5.0 sacks through seven regular-season games, which is tied for 12th most in the NFL, and he is on track to surpass his sack total from 2024 (11.0 sacks in 14 regular-season games).

Texans' Will Anderson: Provides highlight in loss
Anderson recorded five tackles, including one for a loss, 1.0 sacks, a quarterback hit, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in Monday's 27-19 loss to the Seahawks in Week 7.
Anderson strip-sacked Sam Darnold in Seattle's endzone and pounced on the loose ball for Houston's first touchdown. It was one of four turnovers forced by Houston's defense. The sack ended a two-game drought for Anderson, who has 4.0 sacks through six contests.

Texans' Will Anderson: Limited production in Week 5
Anderson recorded three total tackles (one solo) in Sunday's 44-10 win over the Ravens.
Anderson played a season-low 19 snaps on defense, likely based on the team's ability to blow out Baltimore, but he was still able to compile at least three takedowns for the fourth time this season. The defensive end has now registered 17 total tackles (11 solo), including 3.0 sacks, over five games this year.

Texans' Will Anderson: Rested Wednesday
Anderson was listed as a DNP at Wednesday's practice due to rest on Houston's injury report.
The reason of "rest" likely means there's nothing to see here, but Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans told Sam Warren of the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday that Anderson's status was day to day. "They're both managing," Ryans said, referring to Anderson and cornerback Derek Stingley (oblique). "We'll be looking at those guys from day to day. We'll see how they continue to improve throughout the week." Anderson showed no sign of injury last week and played up until the final drive of Week 4's 26-0 win over Tennessee. He was instrumental in disrupting the Titans' passing game, amassing five quarterback pressures. His 22 pressures through four games are fifth most in the NFL and 11 quick pressures (under three seconds) are tied for first.
