Packers' Mark Redman: Traded to Green Bay
The Rams are trading Redman to the Packers for a 2028 seventh-round pick.
Redman spent last season on the Rams' practice squad but didn't appear in any games. The 2025 undrafted free agent will provide extra depth at tight end for the Packers, as both Tucker Kraft (knee) and Luke Musgrave (neck) are dealing with injuries.

Rams' Mark Redman: Sticking around with Rams
Redman signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Redman will be on the Rams' 90-man roster when the offseason kicks off Feb. 9, which gives him the opportunity to participate in OTAs and minicamp. He spent the entire 2025 season on the Rams' practice squad after signing with the team in May as an undrafted free agent.

Mark Redman: Doesn't make 53-man roster
Redman was waived by the Rams on Tuesday.
Redman, an undrafted rookie out of Louisville, overcame an undisclosed injury at the start of training camp to play in all three of the Rams' preseason games, finishing with five catches (on seven targets) for 41 yards. The Rams opted to go with Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen as the backup tight ends behind Tyler Higbee, so Redman will explore his next opportunities and try to catch on with a team in need of tight end depth, assuming he clears waivers.

Redman opened camp on the PUP list due to an undisclosed injury, but he has been given the green light to return to practice after passing his physical. He signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in late April and is battling to earn a spot on the 53-man roster as a backup tight end.
