  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Matches previous high in targets

Johnson had three receptions (on eight targets) for 29 yards in Monday's 33-15 loss to the Patriots. Johnson matched his previous single-game high in targets (eight) set back in Week 10 against the Bears, but the large volume didn't translate into proportional production this time around. The 24-year-old was New York's fourth-leading receiver despite tying Wan'Dale Robinson for the most looks from Jaxson Dart on Monday Night Football. Johnson has still been a pleasant surprise in fantasy this season by generating a 42-456-5 receiving line across 13 games while catching passes from three different quarterbacks. The Penn State product has carved out a significant role on offense and should maintain steady value when the Giants return from the upcoming bye week to host the Commanders in Week 15.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleeper TEs

Johnson had a solid game in Week 12 at Detroit with three catches for 77 yards on five targets, and he scored 10.7 PPR points for the third time in his past four outings. In his past two games with Jaxson Dart, who is back after missing two games with a concussion, Johnson had 10 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets. The Patriots are No. 9 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and seven guys have scored at least 11.3 PPR points against New England. I like Johnson as a low-end starter in all leagues.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Career-high 77 yards in OT loss

Johnson caught three of five targets for 77 yards in Sunday's 34-27 overtime loss to the Lions. Just over half of Johnson's yards came on a 39-yard catch in the fourth quarter. The 2024 fourth-round pick established a new single-game career high for receiving yards, topping his Week 10 total of 75 against the Bears by two yards. Johnson has emerged as a consistent receiving option heading into a Week 13 trip to New England, regardless of whether the Giants start Jameis Winston for a third consecutive game or get rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) back.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleeper TEs

Johnson had a down game in Week 11 against Green Bay with just 6.6 PPR points, but he should rebound in Week 12 against the Lions. Prior to Week 11, Johnson had scored at least 11.7 PPR points in three of his past four outings, including two in a row against the 49ers and Bears. Four tight ends have scored at least 9.1 PPR points against Detroit in the past four games, with two touchdowns, and I like Johnson as a low-end starter in the majority of leagues.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Johnson comes into Week 11 having scored at least 10.7 PPR points in five of his past seven games, including three outings with at least 14.5 PPR points over that span. He also has scored five touchdowns during that stretch, and Johnson should benefit with Jameis Winston starting at quarterback for the injured Jaxson Dart (concussion). The Packers have allowed five tight ends to score at least 11 PPR points this season, and Johnson should be considered a low-end starter in the majority of leagues in this matchup.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sets career highs in catches, yards

Johnson caught seven of eight targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Bears. Johnson set career highs in targets, catches and receiving yards. He has built nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, but Dart exited in the second half due to a concussion. It may be more difficult for Johnson to build on this strong outing if he's catching passes from backup quarterback Russell Wilson in Week 11 against the Packers.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleeper TEs

Johnson heads into Week 9 having scored at least 10.7 PPR points in three of his past five games, with the two outings where he failed to reach that total in two games against the Eagles. I like Johnson as a low-end starter in all leagues in Week 9 against San Francisco, especially since Daniel Bellinger (neck) is out. The 49ers have allowed four tight ends in the past five games to score at least 10.1 PPR points, and Johnson should be a solid target for Jaxson Dart in Week 9 at home.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Dealing with shoulder issue

Johnson was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Johnson has taken full advantage of his 33 targets over the last six games, hauling in 20 for 190 yards and five touchdowns. All of them have come with rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart directing the offense, but Johnson now is dealing with a health concern. Johnson's status will be monitored as the week goes on to get a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday in Chicago.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Five TDs in last six games

Johnson caught three of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-24 loss to the 49ers. Johnson capped the opening drive with his fifth touchdown in the past six games, scoring from 15 yards out. His five other targets resulted in only 12 yards. Given the plethora of injuries to skill-position players for the Giants, Johnson will likely continue to work as one of the team's top contributors in the passing game against the Bears in Week 10.

The 49ers have allowed four tight ends in the past five games to score at least 10.1 PPR points, and Johnson should be a solid target for Jaxson Dart in Week 9 at home.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Three catches in Week 8 loss

Johnson caught three of four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles. Johnson has scored four touchdowns in his last five games, but the Eagles managed to keep him out of the end zone in both meetings over that span. Fellow Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger exited due to a neck injury, which could open up more targets for Johnson if Bellinger doesn't return in Week 9 against the 49ers.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Johnson scored off a tipped pass for a 41-yard touchdown in Week 7 at Denver, but he also finished the game with seven targets for three catches and 66 yards. He has now scored four touchdowns in his past four games, all with Jaxson Dart under center, and Johnson is worth using as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end heading into Week 8 against the Eagles. Keep in mind that Johnson only had two catches for 27 yards on four targets against Philadelphia in Week 6, but Dart needs reliable options in the passing game behind Wan'Dale Robinson. Johnson is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Scores fourth TD in as many weeks

Johnson had three receptions on seven targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-32 loss to the Broncos. Johnson was the beneficiary of good fortune when he caught a tipped pass that was not intended for him for a 41-yard touchdown. It was the 24-year-old's fourth touchdown reception in as many weeks, providing a hot stretch of play for fantasy managers over that span. Johnson continues showing great rapport with rookie QB Jaxson Dart as the team prepares to face Philadelphia for the second time this season.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sit Tight Ends

I had high expectations for Johnson in Week 6 against the Eagles, but he finished with just two catches for 27 yards on four targets. Prior to that he had scored three touchdowns in his previous two games, but I can't trust him in this matchup. Denver is No. 4 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and the Broncos have allowed just one touchdown to the position. Johnson is not a good streaming option for this week.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Pair of grabs in upset victory

Johnson brought in two of four targets for 27 yards in the Giants' 34-17 win over the Eagles on Thursday night. Johnson had flashed with a season-high six receptions and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 5 loss to the Saints on Sunday, but he was a lot quieter four days later despite the Giants' successful night on offense. Nevertheless, he finished with at least four targets for the third straight game, and he appears to have a solid rapport with rookie signal-caller Jaxson Dart heading into a challenging Week 7 road matchup against the Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 19.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Johnson has 12 targets in his past two games against the Chargers and Saints, and he should continue to be involved against the Eagles with Darius Slayton (hamstring) out. In his past two games, which are the first two starts of the season for Jaxson Dart, Johnson had nine catches for 50 yards and three touchdowns, and he scored at least 10.7 PPR points in each outing. The Eagles just allowed a touchdown to Evan Engram in Week 5, and Johnson should be considered a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end in deeper leagues in this game on Thursday night.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Week 6 Waiver Priority List

Johnson should continue to be a featured part of the Giants offense heading into Week 6 against the Eagles with Darius Slayton (hamstring) hurt. Johnson has also done well since Jaxson Dart took over as the starting quarterback for the Giants. In two games with Dart against the Chargers and Saints, Johnson has 12 targets for nine catches, 50 yards and three touchdowns. He doesn't have an easy matchup against the Eagles, but Johnson should be considered a low-end starter in all leagues. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Giants' Theo Johnson: Snags two TDs in Week 5 loss

Johnson caught six of seven targets for 33 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Saints. With Malik Nabers (knee) lost for the season, rookie QB Jaxson Dart turned to the short passing game to keep the offense moving as Johnson and fellow TE Daniel Bellinger combined to haul in 10 passes on 11 targets for 85 yards, while rookie RB Cam Skattebo added a 6-45-0 line on seven targets. Johnson was the only one of the trio to get into the end zone, however, catching a one-yard score in the first quarter and a 15-yard strike in the second -- Dart's only two TDs of the afternoon. The six catches and seven targets were also season highs for Johnson, and his role in what appears to be a very limited Giants passing attack could remain elevated in Week 6 against the Eagles.
