Hurricanes' Riley Stillman: Absent from injury report
Stillman (lower body) was not listed among the injured players Tuesday ahead of training camp.
After going unqualified by the Sabres in the offseason, Stillman nabbed a two-way deal from the Hurricanes. The 26-year-old blueliner's best hope would be to snag the seventh defenseman spot during training camp, but he will face stiff competition for that role from Scott Morrow and Joakim Ryan. Even if Stillman is on the Opening Night roster, he almost certainly figures to split his time between the NHL and AHL this season.
