Jets' Isaak Phillips: Returns to AHL
Phillips was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Phillips was recalled Thursday and saw 12:10 of ice time in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay. Phillips has yet to pick up a point in three NHL games this season. The defenseman had five goals and 14 assists in 44 AHL games before his recall.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Up from AHL
Phillips was called up by Winnipeg on Thursday.
Phillips has five goals and 19 points in 44 appearances with AHL Manitoba in 2025-26. He's also played two outings with Winnipeg in 2025-26, recording no points, two PIM, three shots, one hit and one block over those appearances.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Sent down Thursday
Phillips was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Thursday.
Phillips spent the past week and a half with the Jets, but he didn't appear in any games during his time with the NHL club. He'll be sent to the minors ahead of the Olympic break and should see playing time with Manitoba during the league's layoff.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Brought up from minors
Phillips was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Monday.
Phillips hasn't picked up a point in two NHL appearances this season while posting three shots on goal, one blocked shot and one hit. He will provide the Jets with a spare blueliner during the team's upcoming four-game road trip, which begins against New Jersey on Tuesday.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Demoted to minors
Phillips was sent down to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Phillips' demotion could be an indication that Neal Pionk (lower body) or Haydn Fleury (upper body) is close to returning to action, though the club could bring Phillips or another defenseman up from the minors prior to Saturday's clash with Detroit. The 24-year-old Phillips has logged just five NHL games over the last two seasons and figures to serve primarily as a healthy scratch even when he is on the NHL roster.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Called up Monday
Phillips was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Monday.
Phillips' promotion comes as Colin Miller (lower body) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old Phillips played in three NHL games with the Blackhawks last year, earning one goal, but he would be making his 2025-26 debut if he gets into Tuesday's game versus the Islanders.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Hits waiver wire
Phillips was placed on waivers by the Jets on Tuesday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.
Phillips has played in 56 regular-season games over the last four years, all with the Blackhawks, in which he has tallied two goals and 10 assists. With the blueliner hitting waivers, he figures to start the campaign with AHL Manitoba. It likely will come down to Ville Heinola and Haydn Fleury for the final roster spot Opening Night against the Stars on Oct. 9.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Inks two-year deal
Phillips signed a two-year contract with the Jets on Friday.
Phillips was dealt to the Jets in January from Chicago and was sent to AHL Manitoba, where he generated three goals and five assists in 39 outings. The 23-year-old played 56 NHL games with the Blackhawks across parts of four seasons, scoring twice and adding 10 assists. He is well down the depth chart on the Jets' blue line and is likely to spend most of the season, if not all of it, with the Moose.

Jets' Isaak Phillips: Acquired via trade
Phillips was traded to the Jets from the Blackhawks on Wednesday in exchange for Dmitry Kuzmin, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Phillips has significantly more NHL experience than Kuzmin, having logged 56 games for the Blackhawks over the last four seasons. In those outings, the 2020 fifth-round pick managed two goals and 10 assists while averaging 15:60 of ice time. With Colin Miller (neck) seemingly close to returning, it seems unlikely Phillips will be brought up to the NHL roster any time soon.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Reassigned to minors
Phillips was returned to AHL Rockford on Monday, per Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.
Phillips has one goal, three shots on net, four blocked shots and three hits in three NHL outings this season. He hasn't earned a point in two minor-league appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. The demotion of Phillips could bode well for the availability of Alec Martinez (groin) ahead of Thursday's road matchup against Seattle.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Pots rare goal
Phillips scored a goal and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Ducks.
Phillips has played in back-to-back games, with T.J. Brodie sitting out both times. The 23-year-old Phillips is limited to third-pairing minutes and likely won't score enough to help in fantasy -- his goal Sunday was the second of his 55-game career. He can chip in some non-scoring production after logging 56 hits, 36 blocked shots and 22 PIM over 33 contests in 2023-24, but there's not a lot of upside in his game yet.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Earns callup Tuesday
Phillips was recalled from AHL Rockford on Tuesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Phillips will likely serve as Chicago's seventh defenseman while Alec Martinez (groin) works his way back from injury. The left-shot Phillips hasn't registered a point through two games with the IceHogs this season. The 23-year-old logged six assists and a minus-26 rating with Chicago across 33 regular-season games in 2023-24.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Sent down Friday
Phillips was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Friday.
Phillips has yet to play at the NHL level this season. In a corresponding move, goalie Drew Commesso was called up, suggesting there may be an injury concern in Chicago's crease. Phillips could be back with the NHL club at some point, but the 23-year-old's development is better served by playing in the AHL.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Summoned from AHL
Phillips was called up by the Blackhawks on Thursday.
Phillips has no points and five PIM in one game with AHL Rockford in 2024-25. He split the 2023-24 regular season between Chicago and Rockford, recording six assists and 22 PIM in 33 outings with the Blackhawks as well as four goals, 14 points and 20 PIM in 29 appearances with Rockford. Alec Martinez (groin) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Phillips might draw into the lineup Thursday versus San Jose, but it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up being a healthy scratch.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Sent to Rockford
Phillips was assigned to AHL Rockford on Thursday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Phillips began the regular season on Chicago's 23-man roster, but he didn't appear in the team's season-opening loss to Utah. He'll head to the minors after Wyatt Kaiser (illness) was activated from injured reserve Thursday.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Makes 23-man roster
Phillips is listed on the Blackhawks' 23-man roster Monday despite passing through waivers.
Phillips' spot on the roster should probably be considered tenuous at best, as he almost certainly will be re-assigned to AHL Rockford once fellow blueliner Wyatt Kaiser (illness) is cleared to return. Even with Phillips as an option, he is unlikely to break the Opening Night lineup and figures to watch the Hawks face Utah on Tuesday as a healthy scratch.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Waived by Chicago
Phillips was placed on waivers by Chicago on Sunday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Phillips will be let go since NHL rosters are due Monday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him remain with the organization if he clears waivers. Wyatt Kaiser (illness) was recently placed on injured reserve, so Phillips could play a role with Chicago early in the season if the team is able to retain him.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Pens two-way pact
Phillips signed a one-year, two-way contract with Chicago on Monday.
Phillips had four goals and 14 points in 29 regular-season contests for AHL Rockford in 2023-24 before adding two assists in four playoff outings. The 22-year-old defender collected six helpers, 31 shots on goal, 36 blocked shots and 56 hits across 33 regular-season contests with Chicago last campaign. Phillips will probably start the 2024-25 campaign in the minors but could be among the first call-ups if the Blackhawks need defense reinforcements.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Moved to AHL
Phillips was moved to AHL Rockford on Friday in what's believed to be a paper transaction, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Phillips is expected to be recalled before Saturday's game against Washington. He has six assists and 22 PIM in 33 outings with Chicago in 2023-24.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Sneaks in apple
Phillips supplied an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Rangers.
Phillips has posted six assists against a minus-20 rating through 28 games. The 22-year-old frequently shuffles between AHL Rockford and the parent club, as the Blackhawks have had to compensate for injuries on the blue line, including a knee issue for Nikita Zaitsev, who's been on injured reserve since Jan. 17. Barring another call-up from the minors, Jarred Tinordi (lower body) -- who was a game-time call against the Rangers but ended up sitting out -- is the lone threat to steal playing time from Phillips.
