  • Blackhawks' Ilya Mikheyev: Crosses 100-assist mark in career

Mikheyev logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Jets. Mikheyev set up Anton Frondell in the first period and Tyler Bertuzzi in the third. With the first helper, Mikheyev logged the 100th assist of his career, coming in his 420th game. The winger is knocking on the door of another couple of milestones, sitting five goals shy of 100 and four points shy of 200 in his career. He has three goals and two assists over his last eight outings to get up to 31 points, 112 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-3 rating through 70 appearances this season. That puts him three points back of matching his total from 80 games a year ago.
