  • Senators' Artem Zub: Unavailable for Saturday

Zub (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Game 4 against Carolina on Saturday, according to Julian McKenzie of The Athletic. Zub will miss his third straight game after he was injured in Game 1 on Saturday. The Senators are hurting on the blue line, as Jake Sanderson will also sit out Game 4 due to a concussion. Zub had five goals and 25 assists with a plus-22 rating across 81 regular-season games in 2025-26.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Unavailable Thursday

Zub (undisclosed) is slated to miss Game 3 against Carolina on Thursday, per Graeme Nichols of The Hockey News. Zub also missed Game 2 against the Hurricanes on Monday. He had five goals and 30 points in 81 appearances with Ottawa during the 2025-26 regular season. Cameron Crotty is set to draw into the lineup, while Lassi Thomson is projected to be a healthy scratch after participating in Game 2. If Zub was available, then Thomson likely wouldn't have played Monday, and Crotty would probably be scratched Thursday.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Game-time call Monday

Zub (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Hurricanes on Monday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports. Zub was injured during Game 1 on Saturday, logging just 7:44 of ice time before being forced to leave the contest. If Zub does miss out, it appears that Nikolas Matinpalo will step into his top-four spot in the lineup, while Lassi Thomson could play after sitting out Game 1.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Suffers undisclosed injury

Zub sustained an undisclosed injury during Game 1 against Carolina on Saturday, but head coach Travis Green didn't have an update on his status after the game, per Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal. Zub had three hits in 7:44 of ice time before exiting Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes. The 30-year-old had five goals, 30 points, 57 PIM, 66 hits and 120 blocks in 81 regular-season outings while averaging 20:48 of ice time. • Senators' Artem Zub: Deposits goal in win

Zub scored a goal on four shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Panthers. Zub hadn't scored since Jan. 13 versus the Canucks. During the 33-game goal drought, he still contributed 14 assists and a plus-10 rating. He's hardly a high-scoring defenseman, but Zub has had a career year with 29 points (five goals, 24 helpers), 88 shots on net, 116 blocked shots, 65 hits, 55 PIM and a plus-18 rating over 78 appearances. He offers multi-category upside for fantasy managers needing a boost to close out the campaign.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Send two assists in win

Zub notched two assists, two PIM and three blocked shots in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Sharks. Zub has picked up the pace with five helpers and a plus-5 rating over his last six games. The 30-year-old defenseman is playing in a top-four role, and there's been a little more room for him offensively in the absence of Jake Sanderson (upper body). Zub has 24 points -- one shy of his career high from 2023-24 -- and he's added 70 shots on net, 58 hits, 92 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 65 outings.

For the season, Zub has four goals, 15 helpers, 60 shots on net, 75 blocked shots, 52 hits, 34 PIM and a plus-13 rating in 52 appearances. At this pace, he could challenge for his first 30-point campaign.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Snaps 17-game goal drought

Zub scored a goal in a 2-1 win over the Canucks on Tuesday. The marker snapped a 17-game goal drought. Zub has four goals, 10 assists, 66 blocks and 49 shots in 44 games this season. His career high in points was set in the 2023-24 regular season (five goals, 20 assists), and he would match that total if he maintains his current offensive pace this campaign.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Collects helper in win

Zub posted an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets. This was Zub's first point in three games since he missed a contest due to a lower-body injury. The defenseman has reclaimed his top-four role and should continue to function as a shutdown blueliner. He has 12 points, 33 shots, 35 hits, 45 blocks, 16 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 29 appearances this season, putting him one point shy of matching his output from 2024-25.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Pots goal Thursday

Zub scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames. Zub has had a good run of offense recently with a goal and four helpers over his last five games. The 30-year-old is playing in a top-four role, but he's not known for his scoring, so it's unlikely this success will stick in the long run. He's off to a positive start with two goals, eight points, 19 shots on net, 19 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 12 appearances in October. Zub had 13 points in 56 regular-season outings last year and has topped the 20-point mark in just two of his first five NHL campaigns.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Garners helper in Game 4 win

Zub notched an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4. Zub picked up his first point of the postseason on a David Perron tally in the third period. The 29-year-old Zub has added two hits, six blocked shots, three shots on net and a minus-2 rating over four contests. He's playing in a top-four role as a shutdown defenseman, so expect his scoring to be limited while he continues to focus on his own zone.

Zub notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens. Zub has three helpers over his last eight outings, and he's added a plus-6 rating and 16 blocked shots in that span. The shutdown defender is at 13 points, 56 shots on net, 114 blocks, 57 hits and a plus-4 rating through 54 contests. While his offense isn't that impressive, his defensive play keeps him in the Senators' top four.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Secures assist Saturday

Zub logged an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets. Zub helped out on Drake Batherson's first-period tally. Over 14 games in March, Zub has racked up three assists, a plus-5 rating and 27 blocked shots. The 29-year-old blueliner serves as a shutdown defenseman in a top-four role, so he shouldn't be expected to do much on offense. He's at 11 points, 49 shots on net, 49 hits, 100 blocks, 26 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 47 appearances this season.

Zub logged an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Sharks. Zub ended a five-game point drought with the helper on Michael Amadio's empty-netter. The 29-year-old Zub continues to serve as a stay-at-home defender in a top-four role. He's earned nine points, 39 shots on net, 75 blocked shots, 37 hits and a minus-5 rating over 34 contests in an injury-plagued campaign.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Picks up two assists in win

Zub notched two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 5-2 win over the Predators. The 29-year-old blueliner delivered his first multi-point performance since Nov. 12, helping to set up tallies by Jake Sanderson in the second period and David Perron in the third. Injuries cost Zub significant time over the first three months of the season and severely limited his production, but he's begun to find a groove -- over the last 11 games, he's churned out two goals and six points.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Collects shorthanded assist

Zub produced a shorthanded assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Wild. Zub has a helper in each of the last two contests. The 29-year-old has had a couple of lengthy injury absences this season, but he's handled top-four minutes when healthy. For the season, Zub is at six points, 37 shots on net, 31 hits, 59 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 27 appearances. He plays in more of a shutdown role, so he won't have much appeal in fantasy.

  • Senators' Artem Zub: Pots empty-netter Tuesday

Zub scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Islanders. It was the 29-year-old blueliner's first goal of the season, and his first point in seven games since returning from a broken foot he suffered in late November. Zub won't provide much offense, but he can be an asset in fantasy formats that value other categories, producing 18 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-3 rating in those seven contests.
