Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Two goals in comeback win
Hagel scored twice on three shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens in Game 4.
Hagel continues to be the hero for the Lightning with six goals and a helper over four games to open the playoffs. He had the tying goal on a power play at 1:40 of the third period and followed that up with the eventual game-winner with 4:53 left in regulation. In addition to his offense, Hagel has nine shots on net, five hits, 13 PIM and a plus-6 rating. He'll look to keep the offense rolling as the series shifts back to Tampa for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Stays hot in Game 3 loss
Hagel scored his fourth goal of the playoffs Friday during the Lightning's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens in Game 3 of their first-round series.
The 27-year-old winger gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead early in the second period, intercepting a pass in the neutral zone and then snapping a shot past Jakub Dobes through a partial screen. Hagel has found the back of the net in all three games of the series so far, piling up five points in total. He will probably need to stay locked in as the Bolts try to even things up in Game 4 on Sunday.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: In action Wednesday
Hagel (lower body) will suit up versus the Rangers on Wednesday, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
Hagel has appeared in just one of the last seven contests due to his lower-body problem. With his injury concerns seemingly behind him, Hagel should slot into a top-six role for the Lightning while seeing time on the man advantage. In his last 10 contests, the 27-year-old forward racked up six goals, nine assists and 34 shots while averaging 20:24 of ice time.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Status in question for Wednesday
Hagel (lower body) is expected to be a game-time decision for Wednesday's regular-season finale versus the Rangers, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.
Hagel did not participate in Tuesday's practice. If the Canadiens lose to the Flyers on Tuesday, the Lightning might be even more inclined to keep Hagel out of the lineup until the postseason, as a regulation loss for the Habs in their regular-season finale would lock Tampa Bay into the No. 2 spot in the Atlantic Division. Corey Perry will probably move out of a top-six spot once Hagel returns to the lineup.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Sitting out Monday
Hagel (lower body) won't play against Detroit on Monday, according to Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.
Hagel sat out five straight games before scoring a goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Boston, but it appears the injury is still giving him some trouble. Head coach Jon Cooper hopes to have the 27-year-old forward back in the lineup for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Rangers. Hagel has generated 74 points, including a career-high 36 goals, across 70 appearances this campaign.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Gets sniper's goal in return
Hagel scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over Boston.
Hagel got the Lightning on the board early in the third period when he broke in alone and scored five-hole on Jeremy Swayman. Hagel's 36th goal of the season set a new career high. He could have two more outings to get his timing back before the postseason begins, but he played well in his return after missing five games because of a lower-body injury.

Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Doubtful for Thursday
Hagel (undisclosed) is day-to-day and isn't expected to play versus the Penguins on Thursday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The fact that Hagel is considered day-to-day could be an indication that he will be ready to face the Bruins on Saturday, though fantasy managers will have to take a wait-and-see approach. With Scott Sabourin (undisclosed) also expected to be out of the lineup, the team will need to either bring up a player from the minors or utilize seven defensemen.
