Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two helpers against Vegas
Geekie notched two power-play assists in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Both helpers came 30 seconds apart midway through the first period as the Bruins grabbed a 2-0 lead. It was Geekie's first multi-point performance since Dec. 20, and during the 13 games in between, the 27-year-old managed only one goal and four points -- his first real slump of the season.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Ends goal drought
Geekie scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Stars.
Geekie had gone a month between goals, adding just three assists in 12 appearances in that span. Regression has seemingly come for Geekie's production. He was shooting 27.8 percent at the time of his previous goal (Dec. 20), but that has dropped to 22.8 percent following Tuesday's contest. The 27-year-old has 26 goals, 43 points, 114 shots on net, 76 hits and a minus-6 rating over 49 appearances this season. He should still be a decent middle-six forward, especially if he can find some middle ground for his scoring production.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two more points in win
Geekie scored a power-play goal on four shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Canucks.
Geekie logged his third multi-point effort over the last five games, and he's earned three of his seven points in that span on the power play. The 27-year-old continues to defy expectations, giving the Bruins another reliable scorer to take some pressure off David Pastrnak. Geekie is up to 25 goals, 39 points (12 on the power play), 90 shots on net, 60 hits and a minus-2 rating over 36 appearances. It's tough to see him staying above a point-per-game pace in the second half of the season, but he'll likely surpass his 33-goal, 57-point campaign from last year even if he slumps a little.

Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Contributes another goal
Geekie netted a goal in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Friday.
Geekie has an incredible 18 goals in 26 appearances this season, including six markers over his past five outings. The 27-year-old took a huge step forward with 33 goals during the 2024-25 regular season, shattering his previous career high of 17, but that success came with a 22.0 shooting percentage, which was in stark contrast to his 10.7 shooting percentage over 254 regular-season outings from 2020-21 through 2023-24. That was a potential warning sign that he might regress, but that clearly hasn't been the case. He's now tied with Nathan MacKinnon for the NHL goal-scoring lead, though Geekie doesn't come close to the Avalanche superstar in overall points -- Geekie has just six assists this year.

The 27-year-old forward has 17 goals -- tied for the league lead with Nathan MacKinnon again -- and six assists over 24 appearances. Geekie has added 65 shots on net, 44 hits and a minus-7 rating. The finishing touch is remarkable, but Geekie's also shooting 26.2 percent, which isn't going to last forever.
