Svechnikov scored an empty-net goal on six shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Canadiens in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Svechnikov has scored in consecutive contests for the first time this postseason. The Hurricanes' well-balanced attack has reduced the need for the top-line players to factor into the bulk of the scoring. Svechnikov is now at three goals, three assists, 42 shots, 50 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 12 playoff outings, with all of his points coming since the start of the second round.

Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Wires home OT winner in Game 3
Svechnikov scored the overtime winner Monday during the Hurricanes' 3-2 victory over the Canadiens in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The 26-year-old winger snapped a puck through traffic that managed to get past Jakub Dobes with a little under six minutes left in the first OT period. It was Svechnikov's first goal of the series, and after being held off the scoresheet completely in the first round against the Senators, he's bounced back with two goals and five points in Carolina's last seven games. Svechnikov will look to build up some momentum in Game 4 on Wednesday.

Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Won't play Tuesday
Svechnikov (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Islanders.
Svechnikov will be unavailable for the third time in the Hurricanes' last four games of the regular season, but he's likely just having his workload managed ahead of the playoffs. The 26-year-old will presumably return to game action once the postseason begins.

Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Unavailable Monday
Svechnikov won't be available Monday versus the Flyers for an undisclosed reason.
Svechnikov has scored in six of his last seven outings, including four tallies with the man advantage. With several players getting the night off, Taylor Hall could be pressed into a first-line role and figures to log time with one of the two power-play units. Svechnikov almost certainly will be back for the playoffs, but he should be considered questionable versus the Islanders on Tuesday.

Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Sets career high in points
Svechnikov tallied a power-play goal, fired five shots on net, served two PIM and dished out two hits in Saturday's 4-1 win over Utah.
Svechnikov found the back of the net on a power play less than five minutes into regulation Saturday in his return to the lineup after getting a game of rest Thursday. The power-play goal helped him reach 70 points on the season, which surpassed his previous career high of 69 points across 78 regular-season games during the 2021-22 campaign. Svechnikov flipped a switch offensively in the new calendar year to help secure the 70-point campaign, as he has compiled 19 goals and 35 points over his last 32 games. He's currently on a seven-game point streak and holds strong fantasy value in all formats for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.
