  • Benjamin Gleason: Released from PTO

Gleason has been released by Dallas from his professional tryout agreement, and he signed an AHL contract with Texas on Wednesday. Gleason had two goals and 22 points in 59 regular-season appearances with AHL Iowa in 2025-26. As a free agent regarding NHL eligibility, the 28-year-old defenseman cannot be called up unless he signs a two-way contract.

  • Stars' Benjamin Gleason: Lands PTO with Dallas

Gleason signed a professional tryout agreement with the Stars on Wednesday. Gleason hasn't appeared in an NHL game since he made four regular-season appearances with Dallas during the 2018-19 campaign, but he'll have an opportunity to compete with the Stars during training camp ahead of the 2026-27 regular season. The 28-year-old recorded two goals, 20 assists and 23 PIM across 59 regular-season appearances with AHL Iowa last year, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most, or all, of his time in the minors once again this season.

  • Wild's Benjamin Gleason: Recalled Wednesday

Gleason has been called up by Minnesota on Wednesday. Gleason has a goal and 17 points in 44 outings with AHL Iowa this season. The 27-year-old hasn't played in the NHL since the 2018-19 regular season. Although he'll participate in practices during the Olympic break, Gleason will probably return to the minors without playing for Minnesota.

  • Wild's Benjamin Gleason: Three assists for Iowa

Gleason posted three assists and three shots on goal in AHL Iowa's 4-3 shootout loss to Grand Rapids on Tuesday. Gleason isn't known for his offense, and he was limited to 18 points in 36 regular-season games between Bakersfield and Lehigh Valley last year. His first season in Iowa is off to a positive start with five points in seven contests, though he also has a minus-6 rating. Gleason has just four games of NHL experience under his belt, and they came in 2018-19, so it would likely take a number of injuries to the Wild's blue line for him to get a call-up.

  • Flyers' Benjamin Gleason: Acquired via trade Monday

Gleason was traded to the Flyers from the Oilers in exchange for Ronnie Attard on Monday. Gleason will report to AHL Lehigh Valley -- he picked up one goal, three assists and nine PIM across seven games with AHL Bakersfield before being dealt Monday. The left-shot blueliner's last appearance in the NHL was with Dallas during the 2018-19 campaign, where he registered an assist over four appearances.

  • Oilers' Benjamin Gleason: Signing with Edmonton

Gleason signed a two-year contract with the Oilers on Saturday, per PuckPedia. The first year of the deal is a two-way contract prior to becoming a one-way pact in 2024-25.
