  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Eight points in last seven games

Maccelli had a goal and two assists Thursday in a 6-4 win over the Ducks. Maccelli opened the scoring after he stole the puck from Jackson LaCombe at the Toronto blue line, carried the puck through the neutral zone and went low blocker from the top of the right circle. Macelli has eight points (four goals, four assists) in his last seven games, and 32 points, including 18 assists, in 55 games this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Five-game point streak

Maccelli scored a goal Saturday in a 5-2 loss to the Lightning. He opened the game with a wrist shot that beat Andrei Vasilevskiy early in the first period. It was Maccelli's third goal in as many games, and it extended his point streak to five games. He has three goals and two assists during that span. He has eight points, including five goals, in nine games since the start of February. Maccelli has been productive while skating on the top line with Auston Matthews and William Nylander.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Four-game, four-point streak

Maccelli scored a goal in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Thursday. Maccelli is on a four-game, four-point scoring streak (two goals, two assists). The winger has been in and out of head coach Craig Berube's dog house for the entire season, but play like this will keep him on the ice. Maccelli's ice time shot up to 19:32 against the Rangers. He has 12 goals, 16 assists and 71 shots in 52 games this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Nets opening goal

Maccelli scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Devils. Maccelli has four goals and two assists over seven games since the start of February. He has 17 shots on net in that span, well over two shots per game, compared to the 1.35 shots per game he's averaging this season. The winger is at 11 goals, 27 points, 69 shots on net and a minus-13 rating over 51 appearances while mainly featuring in a middle-six role.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Tallies twice in win

Maccelli scored two goals on four shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers. Maccelli opened the scoring at 7:12 of the second period, and he added a power-play marker in the third. The 25-year-old has opened February with three goals over two games after scoring just twice with six assists over 16 contests in January. The playmaking winger is up to 10 goals, 24 points, 58 shots on net and a minus-12 rating over 46 appearances. He won't come near the 57-point output he had in 2023-24 with the Coyotes, but he could challenge the 17-goal total he had that year.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Pots goal vs. Calgary

Maccelli scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Flames. Maccelli scored a goal for the first time since Jan. 10, when he found the twine in a 5-0 victory over the Canucks. Maccelli has 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 45 contests this season, so he's not expected to be a massive fantasy contributor any time soon -- even if he finds a way to crack the scoresheet from time to time.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Dishes two assists

Maccelli notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added four shots on net in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Golden Knights. Maccelli picked up his first multi-point effort since Jan. 1 with this performance. The winger has six points over eight contests in January, with three of his points coming on the power play. For the season, he's up to 19 points, 39 shots on net and a minus-4 rating across 36 appearances. That's one point better than his 55-game output with Utah in 2024-25, and he's come a long way since his run as a healthy scratch in December. Maccelli will likely continue to offer playmaking upside in a top-six role, especially with William Nylander's (lower body) status in doubt again.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Five points in last five games

Maccelli scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-5 win over Winnipeg on Thursday. Maccelli was set up by John Tavares and Matthew Knies. Knies gave him a no-look pass, and he ripped it high blocker from the right dot. Maccelli has started to warm up of late with five points (two goals, three assists) in his last five games. He doesn't get many shots -- he has just five in those five games. But two of his assists in that span have come with the man advantage. There may be some spot value in Maccelli's game for those in daily formats, especially if the Leafs have suddenly found their offense.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Hands out two helpers

Maccelli notched two assists, including one on the power play, and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Senators. Maccelli has played in four straight contests, earning four points in that span. He may get a longer look on the power play going forward since the Maple Leafs have made significant changes for that situation, including firing assistant coach Marc Savard. Maccelli has been limited to 13 points, 22 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 26 appearances, but if he gets a more prominent and consistent role in the lineup, he may be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Snags helper in loss

Maccelli notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Predators. Maccelli had been out of the lineup for 10 of the previous 11 games, mainly as a healthy scratch but once due to an illness. He's produced 10 points, 19 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 23 appearances. With the Maple Leafs' season starting to spiral, Maccelli could get more chances to play if he can chip in some offense, but fantasy managers shouldn't rely on him being a regular in the lineup.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Out Tuesday

Maccelli (illness) won't play Tuesday versus the Blackhawks, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports. Considering Maccelli was a healthy scratch for seven straight games prior to this, it may be difficult to know when he's moved past the illness. It's also not guaranteed he'll draw back into the lineup when he's feeling better.

  • Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: GWG against former club

Maccelli scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in the Maple Leafs' 5-3 win over the Mammoth on Wednesday. The former Utah winger got a measure of revenge against the franchise that drafted him in the fourth round back in 2019, helping to set up Auston Matthews for a tally midway through the second period before giving Toronto a 4-2 lead late in the third. It was Maccelli's first multi-point performance and first GWG in a Leafs jersey, and through 13 games this season he's chipped in three goals and seven points.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Still stuck in press box

Maccelli was scratched for the 17th time in 20 games since the start of March when he sat out Saturday's 5-3 win over the Stars. Maccelli had a three-game run in the lineup from March 20-24, notching three shots on net in fourth-line minutes. He's been back in the press box for the last nine contests and doesn't look likely to be a factor to close out the campaign. He's at 18 points, 85 shots on net and a minus-13 rating over 55 appearances, a massive decline from the 57-point season he had in 2023-24. He'll be entering a contract year in 2025-26.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Falls out of favor

Maccelli was scratched for the ninth game in a row in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Maple Leafs. Utah has opted to go in a more physical direction by keeping Liam O'Brien and Michael Carcone in the lineup over Maccelli, whose path to playing time will get even tougher once Nick Bjugstad (upper body) returns. Maccelli's had a rough year, though he had an assist in his last appearance Feb. 8 versus the Hurricanes. The 24-year-old playmaking winger has been limited to 18 points, 82 shots on net and a minus-13 rating over 52 appearances, a huge decline compared to his 57-point effort in 2023-24.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Snags power-play assist

Maccelli provided a power-play assist in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Hurricanes. Maccelli's playing time has started to waver -- he's been in a bottom-six role lately and was scratched twice in the previous five contests. He helped out on a Josh Doan tally in Saturday's games. Maccelli has struggled this season, earning 18 points (three on the power play), 82 shots on net and a minus-13 rating over 52 appearances. Utah's influx of prospects into the top six has negatively impacted Maccelli's ability to serve as a playmaker on a scoring line, hence the drop in his production after a 57-point 2023-24 campaign.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Scores, takes three shots Monday

Maccelli had a goal and took three shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets. Maccelli found the back of the net in the third period and tallied his eighth goal of the campaign. The 24-year-old winger is far from being the most productive player on the Utah roster, but he's going through a prolific stretch with five goals and six points over his last eight contests.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Pots pair of goals

Maccelli scored twice on five shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. Maccelli had both of Utah's goals in the first period. He's scored in just four contests this season, but three of those have been two-goal efforts. The 24-year-old winger is up to seven tallies, 15 points, 64 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 43 appearances. He's getting a look on the second line -- despite his lack of production this season, he could be worth a look for fantasy managers trying to find offense.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Unavailable Thursday

Maccelli will miss Thursday's tilt against Calgary due to an illness. Maccelli has three goals and 10 points in 37 outings with Utah in 2024-25. His absence coincides with Clayton Keller returning after missing one game due to an illness.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Pockets helper in loss

Maccelli notched an assist in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Stars. The helper put an end to Maccelli's seven-game slump. The 24-year-old is playing on the third line, but he has fairly limited scoring upside as a pass-first winger with few contributions outside of offense. He's at 10 points, 30 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 25 appearances -- he hasn't really found a groove this season, making it unlikely he will repeat his 57-point campaign from 2023-24.

  • Hockey Club's Matias Maccelli: Records helper Friday

Maccelli logged an assist in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights. Maccelli has a goal and two helpers over his last four contests. He started the year in the bottom six but has earned a second-line role more recently, and it appears to be helping his offense. The winger is up to nine points, 24 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 17 outings. Maccelli doesn't offer a lot of category coverage in fantasy, but he's decent as a depth scorer with power-play time.
