Devils' Connor Brown: Pots empty-netter
Brown scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Brown ended a nine-game goal drought with the tally, a span in which he had four assists. The 31-year-old winger is firmly in a middle-six role and has offered decent supporting offense this season. He's at seven goals, 13 points, 31 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 25 appearances.

Devils' Colton White: Three assists in last two games
White delivered two assists in a 4-1 win over Anaheim on Saturday.
White went 10 games this season before recording a point, and now he has three assists in his last two games. He put up six assists in 46 regular-season games in 2022-23, his last season in the NHL. Overall, White has 13 helpers in 96 NHL regular-season games over six different campaigns.

Devils' Cody Glass: Three-game, four-point streak
Glass scored a goal Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Ducks.
He beat Lukas Dostal with a snap shot from the high slot in the second period to push the score to 3-1. Glass is on a three-game, four-point scoring streak (two goals, two assists; 11 shots), and he and his linemates (Ondrej Palat and Connor Brown) caught fire Saturday with two goals and two assists.

Devils' Paul Cotter: Surprising three-game goal streak
Cotter scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over Anaheim.
Cotter netted the game-winner early in the second period with a wrist shot that beat Lukas Dostal. It's the third straight game that he's scored a goal (three goals, one assist). This won't last -- he has just five goals (10 points) in 32 games this season. However, Cotter is hot enough to consider a waiver pickup if you're streaming forwards.

Devils' Ondrej Palat: First points in six games
Palat picked up two assists Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Palat recorded his first points in six games to give him seven (two goals, five assists) in 32 contests this season. The 34-year-old winger is on pace for fewer than 20 points. That would be the lowest seasonal production of Palat's career. Last season, he delivered just 28 points, including 15 goals, in 77 games.

Devils' Juho Lammikko: First points of season
Lammikko delivered two assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over Anaheim.
The points were his first this season (16 games) after putting up 15 (seven goals, eight assists) in 75 contests during the 2024-25 regular season. With limited contributions in secondary categories like hits, blocks and shots, Lammikko is clearly best suited to an on-ice role than in the fantasy arena.

Devils' Stefan Noesen: Rare goal in win
Noesen scored a goal Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Noesen has had a slow start to the season. He has two goals, three assists and 35 shots through 26 games after putting up 22 goals, 19 assists and 165 shots in 78 regular-season outings during the 2024-25 campaign. Much of last year's success came from his deployment on the power play, where he delivered 11 goals and four assists. This year, Noesen has just one power-play assist.

Devils' Jake Allen: Helps team snap home losing streak
Allen made 30 saves in a 4-1 win over the Ducks on Saturday.
He was especially sharp in the third period when he made 14 saves, including a sparkling pad save against rookie Beckett Sennecke from the slot on a 6-on-5 advantage. It was Allen's first win in December (1-3-0; three starts). It was also the Devils' first home win in five games. Allen continues to deliver better numbers (2.60 GAA, .907 save percentage) than Jacob Markstrom (3.66 GAA, .875 save percentage), and the two men are splitting starts.

Devils' Jake Allen: Starting Saturday
Allen will defend the home crease versus Anaheim on Saturday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
Allen is 8-7-0 with one shutout, a 27.0 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 16 appearances this season. He has outplayed Jacob Markstrom this season, as the two netminders have split the crease for most of the campaign. The Ducks are generating 3.52 goals per game, second in the NHL this season.

Devils' Simon Nemec: Set to miss time
Nemec (lower body) sustained an injury during Friday's practice and will miss some time, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports Saturday.
Nemec's injury is not day-to-day, but a timeline for his return is unclear. He has seven goals, 18 points, 50 shots on net and 46 blocked shots through 31 appearances this season. Dennis Cholowski will replace Nemec in Saturday's lineup against Anaheim.

Devils' Calen Addison: Back in NHL
Addison was recalled from AHL Utica on Saturday.
Addison has spent all season with Utica, tallying a pair of goals and seven assists across 21 games. He will likely be an extra defenseman for the Devils at this time. New Jersey placed Timo Meier (personal) on the non-roster list in a corresponding move.

Devils' Timo Meier: Lands on non-roster list
Meier (personal) was designated as a non-roster player Saturday.
The Devils recalled Calen Addison from AHL Utica in a corresponding move. Meier is away from the team while attending to a family health matter. He has accounted for 11 goals, 23 points, 93 shots on net and 61 hits through 30 appearances this season.

Devils' Arseny Gritsyuk: Unavailable on weekend
Gritsyuk (undisclosed) has been ruled out of this weekend's games, according to Ryan Novozinsky of NJ.com on Friday.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe made the announcement Friday. Gritsyuk has played well in his rookie season, tallying seven times while adding nine assists across 31 games. Juho Lammikko could enter the lineup for Gritsyuk on Saturday against the Ducks.

Devils' Colton White: Plucks first apple
White notched an assist, four hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Lightning.
White has been in a part-time role recently, sharing a third-pairing spot with Dennis Cholowski. The helper Thursday was White's first point in 11 outings for the Devils this season. He's added five shots on net, 12 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. He can play a decent physical game, but the 28-year-old offers minimal scoring upside and won't be a factor in the vast majority of fantasy formats.

Devils' Stefan Noesen: Chips in with assist
Noesen notched an assist, five shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Lightning.
Noesen snapped an eight-game point drought with the helper. He's contributed just three assists with 25 PIM, 28 shots and 21 hits over his last 21 outings. The 32-year-old has been pressed into a larger role due to a number of absences for the Devils, but the increased ice time hasn't resulted in more offense yet. Overall, he's at four points, 34 shots, 27 hits, 27 PIM and a minus-10 rating over 25 appearances.

Devils' Simon Nemec: Picks up pair of helpers
Nemec notched two assists, three shots on goal, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Lightning.
Nemec is heating up again with three points over his last two games. The 21-year-old blueliner has contributed decent offense regardless of his spot in the lineup this season, and he's bounced around semi-frequently. For the year, he's up to seven goals, 11 helpers, 50 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 31 outings. He needs two more points to reach the 20-point mark for the first time in his three-year career.

Devils' Angus Crookshank: Finds twine Thursday
Crookshank scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Lightning.
The goal was Crookshank's first point in four appearances. The 26-year-old winger is holding onto a fourth-line role for now amid a tough stretch of injuries for the Devils. He's produced three shots on net, two hits, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating, but he's unlikely to score his way into the picture for fantasy managers.

Devils' Jake Allen: Takes loss in relief
Allen made 23 saves in relief during Thursday's 8-4 loss to Tampa Bay. He allowed five goals.
The Devils have struggled mightily lately, losing six of their past seven games and five consecutive matchups at home. Allen is 1-5-0 in his last five starts. The win was by shutout, but three of those losses had at least five goals go past him. Allen and Jacob Markstrom will be risky options in New Jersey's net until they regain their bearings.
