Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Moves up, earns helper
Toropchenko posted an assist, four shots on goal and three hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Toropchenko had gone 13 games without a point entering Sunday. Rather than scratching the winger, head coach Jim Montgomery moved him to the second line, and Toropchenko responded by setting up Jordan Kyrou's second-period tally. Dylan Holloway moved to the third line, but Toropchenko's playing style is typically better suited to bottom-six usage, so expect more lineup shuffling in the near future. Toropchenko has five points, 32 shots on net, 60 hits, 23 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 30 outings this season, and it's unlikely he'll score enough to be a factor in most fantasy formats.

Blues' Jake Neighbours: Produces helper in win
Neighbours notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Neighbours has two goals and three assists over his last six outings as he continues to produce in a top-line role. The 22-year-old winger has avoided a multi-game drought for over a month -- his last one was a two-game dry spell from Nov. 9-12. He's now at 10 goals, seven assists, 63 shots on net, 79 hits, 22 blocked shots, 26 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 32 appearances. Neighbours may not have the most scoring upside, but the steady offense and his physical play make him a solid depth option in fantasy.

Blues' Brayden Schenn: Generates assist in win
Schenn notched an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Schenn has four points over seven outings in December. He hasn't found the same kind of success as the Blues' other top-six forwards, but he still offers depth scoring with a physical edge. The 33-year-old center is up to 16 points, 63 shots on net, 76 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 32 contests this season.

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Extends goal, point streaks
Kyrou scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Kyrou scored for the fourth game in a row, and his point streak is up to five contests dating back to Dec. 7 versus the Oilers. The 26-year-old winger continues to lead the Blues in goals with 13 over 32 appearances. He's added 14 assists, 92 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-4 rating. Kyrou can sustain this level of offense, and he still has some room to grow on the power play this year, but he typically won't add much of a physical element.

Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Buries goal Sunday
Buchnevich scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Buchnevich opened the scoring in the first period against his former team. He's gotten on the scoresheet in each of his last nine games, putting up three goals and six assists in that span, though he also missed two contests due to a lower-body injury. Buchnevich is clicking in a top-six role, and he's up to eight goals, 21 points, 61 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-1 rating through 30 appearances this season.

Blues' Robert Thomas: Earns two points in Sunday's win
Thomas scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Thomas has a seven-game point streak spanning all of December. He has four multi-point efforts in that span, racking up a total of four goals and nine assists. The 25-year-old center is up to six goals, 23 points, 39 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 20 appearances. While he still has a pass-first mentality, fantasy managers should have no problem finding room for a point-per-game center in their lineups.

Blues' Joel Hofer: Fends off Rangers
Hofer stopped 26 of 28 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Hofer picked up his fourth straight win. He had a shutout going until the middle of the third period, when he allowed both goals in a span of 1:19, but the Rangers couldn't find the equalizer. Hofer improved to 7-3-0 overall with a 2.83 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 10 starts. He has been starting about once every three games for the Blues, so Hofer will likely play during the team's upcoming road back-to-back against the Lightning on Thursday and the Panthers on Friday.

Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting Sunday
Hofer will protect the home net versus the Rangers on Sunday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Hofer has a 6-3-0 record with one shutout, a 2.93 GAA and a .902 save percentage through nine outings this season. He will get the second half of St. Louis' back-to-back after Jordan Binnington played in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to Dallas. The Rangers lost 5-1 to the Kings on Saturday.

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Scores lone goal in overtime loss
Kyrou scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars.
Kyrou has scored in three straight games and has five goals and an assist over six outings in December. The 26-year-old winger seems to be adjusting well to head coach Jim Montgomery's system. Kyrou is up to 12 tallies, 26 points, 89 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-4 rating over 31 appearances this season.

Blues' Cam Fowler: Debuts right away for St. Louis
Fowler made his Blues debut Saturday in a 2-1 overtime loss, failing to record a point but producing one shot on net, one blocked shot and one hit in 17:35 of ice time.
The 33-year-old blueliner was acquired from Anaheim earlier in the day and wasted no time in making his St. Louis debut, skating on the second pairing with Philip Broberg at even strength. Fowler has plenty of power-play experience, but Justin Faulk is still entrenched on the top unit for the Blues, so the switch in teams may not be much of a fantasy upgrade for the former Duck. Through 18 appearances this season, Fowler has only four assists with 30 blocked shots, 18 shots on net, six PIM and a minus-7 rating.

Blues' Jordan Binnington: Tough loss in OT
Binnington turned aside 35 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars.
Jordan Kyrou gave St. Louis an early lead by beating Jake Oettinger just after a power play had expired midway through the first period, but Dallas dominated the rest of the game and eventually banked the win on a great individual effort by Matt Duchene in OT. Binnington has just one win in his last five starts, going 1-2-2 with a 3.19 GAA and .899 save percentage, while Joel Hofer has won his last three outings, but as yet there's been no suggestion a switch at the top of the Blues depth chart is on the horizon.

The deal will end Fowler's 15-year tenure with Anaheim. The 33-year-old defenseman has four assists and a minus-7 rating through 17 games this season. Fowler figures to step into a top-four role with the Blues.
