Top Blues News

  • Blues' Theo Lindstein: Logs helper in NHL debut

Lindstein notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

This was Lindstein's NHL debut, and he made an impact with a secondary helper on Jimmy Snuggerud's tally in the second period. The Blues have leaned on their top defensemen all season, so Lindstein's minutes are likely to be limited as long as he's in a bottom-four role. He had 13:39 of ice time Tuesday in his debut, and it's unclear how long he'll stick in the NHL this time around.

  • Blues' Philip Broberg: Opens scoring in loss

Broberg scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders.

Broberg has a point in four straight games (one goal, three helpers). The 24-year-old defenseman is poised for a larger role to close out the campaign after the Blues dealt Justin Faulk to the Red Wings. Broberg is up to four goals, 23 points, 82 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 63 appearances, and he should get regular power-play time the rest of the way.

  • Blues' Dylan Holloway: Point streak reaches four games

Holloway scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Holloway gave the Blues a 2-0 lead at the 9:10 mark of the second period with a wrister. He has two goals and four assists during this ongoing four-game point streak, which also happens to be his longest point streak of the campaign. The 24-year-old playmaker has 10 points (five goals, five assists) and an impressive plus-11 rating in seven games since the end of the Winter Olympics.

  • Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud: Extends multi-point streak

Snuggerud recorded a goal on eight shots while adding two assists, two PIM, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Snuggerud has recorded at least a goal and an assist in each of his last three games, so it's safe to say he's back at his best after a four-game stretch in which he couldn't find the back of the net between Feb. 26 and March 4. Snuggerud has eight points (three goals, five assists), 21 shots, 11 hits and three blocked shots in seven outings since the end of the Winter Olympics.

  • Blues' Joel Hofer: Tagged with OT defeat

Hofer stopped 45 of 49 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

The Blues jumped to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period, but the Islanders found a way to beat Hofer three times in the final 23 minutes of action -- and once more in overtime. Hofer has gone undefeated in regulation in his last five outings, though, going 4-0-1 with a 1.59 GAA and an excellent .948 save percentage over that stretch, so one OT loss shouldn't take anything away from him. He should remain an elite fantasy option going forward simply based on his hot play since the Olympic break.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Likely to play through injury

Thomas has an upper-body injury that head coach Jim Montgomery believes the center can play through, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Thomas was hit in the hand in Tuesday's contest, but he was able to finish it. At this point, it doesn't appear that the Blues are overly concerned about the issue, but it bears paying attention to Thomas' status ahead of Thursday's contest versus the Hurricanes. In Tuesday's game, Thomas had two assists and a plus-3 rating, but he took only one faceoff prior to the injury and none after returning to the ice, so he may be held off from those duties for a while. He has 42 points in 47 outings this season.

  • Blues' Joel Hofer: Protecting home net Tuesday

Hofer will tend the home twine versus the Islanders on Tuesday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Hofer is currently playing at an extremely high level -- he's 4-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .962 save percentage over his last four starts. The Blues will also get a boost on the blue line Tuesday, as Colton Parayko (back) will return to the lineup. As for the Islanders, they are coming off a 2-1 overtime win in San Jose on Saturday after dropping the first two games of their road trip in Anaheim and Los Angeles.

  • Blues' Colton Parayko: Suiting up against Islanders

Parayko (back) will return to the lineup for Tuesday's home matchup against the Islanders.

Parayko is set to play in just his second game following the Olympic break. The right-shot blueliner will skate on the No. 2 pairing next to Theo Lindstein, who is making his NHL debut Tuesday. Justin Holl and Matt Kessel will be healthy scratches on the blue line for St. Louis against the Islanders.

  • Blues' Theo Lindstein: Summoned from AHL

Lindstein was recalled from AHL Springfield on Monday.

Lindstein has six goals and 14 points in 56 minor-league appearances this season. It's unclear at this time if the 21-year-old blueliner will get a chance to make his NHL debut during his stint with the Blues.

  • Blues' Otto Stenberg: Recalled Monday

Stenberg was promoted from AHL Springfield on Monday.

Stenberg has appeared in 18 NHL games this season, earning one goal on 17 shots, seven assists and 33 hits while averaging 14:00 of ice time. Even with the 20-year-old center on the roster, he is far from a lock to suit up versus the Islanders on Tuesday.

  • Blues' Nathan Walker: Stuck in part-time role

Walker was scratched for the third time in four games for Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Walker looks set to slip into a part-time role as the Blues look to find ice time for Jack Finley moving forward. The 32-year-old Walker has gone without a point in his last 13 games, so he hasn't helped his own cause for staying in the lineup. Overall, he has 11 points, 35 shots on net, 24 PIM, 31 blocked shots and 157 hits over 40 appearances.

  • Blues' Justin Holl: Earns helper in team debut

Holl had an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Holl was acquired from the Red Wings in the Justin Faulk trade Friday. The 34-year-old Holl was with AHL Grand Rapids prior to the trade, but the Blues need him in the NHL currently while Colton Parayko (back) is out of the lineup. Holl hadn't seen NHL ice since 2024-25, when he posted just eight points in 73 contests for the Red Wings. He has minimal offensive upside, and his physical play took a severe downturn last year, so the blueliner is unlikely to be a factor in fantasy.

  • Blues' Pius Suter: Deposits empty-netter Sunday

Suter scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Suter has two goals and three assists over six games since the Olympics. The 29-year-old forward is up to nine goals, 20 points, 71 shots on net, 33 hits and a plus-3 rating over 46 outings. There's an opening in the top six following the Blues' trade of Brayden Schenn, and Suter got to fill it with a spin on the second line Sunday, though Dalibor Dvorsky could also get a look in that spot later in the campaign.

  • Blues' Jonathan Drouin: Gets first goal with new team

Drouin scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Drouin was flipped to the Blues in the Brayden Schenn deal. The 30-year-old Drouin is getting a look on the second line, which should put him in a position to find some offense if he can mesh with his new teammates. He had gone 38 games without a goal to end his Islanders tenure, so he's already off to a better start with the Blues. Drouin has 22 points (six on the power play), 75 shots on net, 19 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 56 appearances this season.

... See More ... See Less
  • Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Opens scoring Sunday

Kyrou scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Kyrou ended a four-game point drought with the opening, and ultimately game-winning, tally at 4:22 of the second period. The winger, who was the subject of trade rumors but ended up staying put with the Blues, is filling a middle-six role currently. He's up to 15 goals, 34 points, 137 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 53 appearances. Kyrou had posted at least 67 points in each of the last four seasons, but he'll come up well short of that number in 2025-26.

... See More ... See Less
  • Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud: Earns two points in win

Snuggerud scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

This was Snuggerud's second multi-point effort in a row. The 21-year-old winger is thriving in a top-line role currently, making him a player to consider in most fantasy formats. For the season, he is up to 12 goals, 29 points, 108 shots on net, 57 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 51 appearances. Snuggerud has earned 14 of his points over his last 12 outings.

... See More ... See Less
  • Blues' Joel Hofer: Earns shutout over Ducks

Hofer posted a 22-save shutout in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Ducks.

Hofer remains locked in with four straight wins, allowing just four goals on 105 shots in those contests. The 25-year-old has started four of six games for the Blues since the Olympic break, suggesting he has maintained his status as the team's top netminder over Jordan Binnington. Hofer is up to five shutouts this season and has matched his career high in wins with 16. He's at 16-11-3 with a 2.69 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 34 appearances. The Blues are back in action at home Tuesday versus the Islanders.
