The SEC released its Coaches All-SEC teams on Tuesday. No surprise, but undefeated Alabama leads all teams with 11 selections. Among them is freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts, who received first-team honors.
In all, the Crimson Tide had seven first-team selections, including three on offense, three on defense and one on special teams. LSU had nine selections, followed by Auburn, Florida and Texas A&M, each of which had six.
There were a couple of players who received multiple selections at different positions. For instance, Texas A&M wideout Christian Kirk received first-team accolades at wide receiver, all-purpose and return specialist. LSU's Derrius Guice was a first-team selection at running back, but a second-team selection for all-purpose player.
