Arcia went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Cubs. Arcia has started every other game across Colorado's last six contests, filling in primarily at second base. He drew a start at third base Sunday and delivered an RBI single in the fourth inning. Arcia has gone 8-for-23 with five RBI and three runs scored since returning from the injured list Aug. 17.

Arcia went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Wednesday against the Dodgers. Arcia drew the start at third base with Kyle Karros (back) sidelined, and he's now been in the lineup twice across four games since being activated from the injured list. He drew his two RBI with a sacrifice fly and an infield single and also tallied an insurance run in the sixth inning. Assuming Karros is able to avoid the injured list, Arcia will likely shift to a bench role moving forward.

The Rockies activated Arcia (elbow) off the injured list Saturday. Arcia missed the minimum 10 games while on the IL due to right elbow inflammation. Though he's now healthy enough to return to action, he may be reduced to a part-time role given that Kyle Karros has hit well while manning the hot corner after being promoted in the wake of Arcia's IL stint. Aaron Schunk was sent down to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday to clear room for Arcia's return to the 26-man roster.

The Rockies placed Arcia on the 10-day injured list Friday with right elbow inflammation. Arcia hasn't played since leaving Tuesday's game early with an elbow injury, and he'll officially miss at least another week now that he's on the IL. Kyle Karros and Aaron Schunk were both called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to replenish the Rockies' infield depth, though it's unclear which player will receive the lion's share of the playing time at third base.

Arcia won't start in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays due to a right elbow injury, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports. Arcia went 1-for-2 with a base hit before he was lifted for a pinch runner in the bottom of the fifth inning of Tuesday's 10-4 loss due to the elbow issue. According to Henry, interim manager Warren Schaeffer said that Arcia is set to undergo an MRI on Wednesday, and the Rockies will wait and see how the veteran infielder feels following Thursday's off day before determining whether he'll require a stint on the injured list. Kyle Farmer will cover third base in Arcia's stead Wednesday.
