Anderson cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Gwinnett. Anderson was designated for assignment Tuesday -- just two days after being claimed off waivers from the Angels. No other team was interested in bringing in the 26-year-old righty this time around, so he'll stay put at Triple-A Gwinnett. Anderson will be looking to rebound from a poor start in the majors after giving up 12 runs in only 9.1 innings during his time in Los Angeles.

Atlanta designated Anderson for assignment Tuesday. The right-hander was claimed off waivers over the weekend and didn't make an appearance before being dumped from the 40-man roster. Anderson was traded from Atlanta to the Angels just before the start of the regular season and posted an 11.57 ERA and 8:7 K:BB over 9.1 innings before being let go by Anaheim.

Atlanta claimed Anderson off waivers from the Angels on Sunday. Anderson will make his return to the organization that drafted him in 2016 after Atlanta previously traded him to the Angels in March. He was included in the Angels' Opening Day bullpen and posted a 11.57 ERA, 2.57 WHIP and 8:7 K:BB across 9.1 innings before being dropped from the 40-man roster Wednesday. Since Anderson doesn't have minor-league options remaining, he'll report to Atlanta and will likely assume a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

The Angles designated Anderson for assignment Wednesday. Anderson was acquired by the Angels in March in a trade with Atlanta. He's given up at least three earned runs in three of his seven outings with the Angels this season and has an 11.57 ERA and 2.57 WHIP across 9.1 innings. Anderson will report to Triple-A Salt Lake if he does not get claimed off waivers.

The Angels acquired Anderson from Atlanta on Sunday in exchange for lefty Jose Suarez, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports. Anderson had a 2.65 ERA over 17 innings during spring training, but his command was all over the place with 18 walks. The right-hander is out of minor-league options, and Atlanta's decision to trade him is a clear indication he wasn't going to make the Opening Day roster. Anderson should have a better chance of sticking in the majors with Los Angeles.
