  • The Phillies signed Garcia to a one-year, $10 million contract Monday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports. The Phillies are expected to trade or release Nick Castellanos this offseason, and Garcia is now lined up to replace him in right field. Garcia has just a .675 OPS and 89 wRC+ over the last two seasons, though he graded out as a solid defender in right field in 2025. He should benefit from a ballpark and lineup upgrade in 2026 in what will be his age-33 season.

  • Adolis Garcia: Non-tendered by Rangers
    By RotoWire

The Rangers non-tendered Garcia on Friday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports. Garcia was slated to make approximately $12 million in arbitration, but the Rangers have opted to part ways with the 32-year-old slugger. He finished the 2025 regular season with a .665 OPS with 13 steals, 58 runs scored, 19 home runs and 75 RBI in 547 plate appearances. Garcia's production at the plate has dipped over the past couple of the seasons, but he should garner interest from teams looking to add outfield depth ahead of the 2026 campaign.

  • Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Cleveland. Garcia crushed his 19th homer of the year and his first of the month of September. The veteran outfielder has been quite disappointing in 2025 -- his .665 OPS is a career worst, and he's in jeopardy of turning in his first season without 20 homers since becoming a full-time player in 2021. With a poor .227 batting average over 503 at-bats to boot, Garcia might be a tough player to rank in 2026.

  • Garcia (quadriceps) is starting in right field and batting fifth against the Twins on Tuesday. Garcia is still dealing with a quad issue that forced him to the injured list earlier this month. Despite his activation from the IL eight days ago, manager Bruce Bochy said this past Sunday that Garcia still isn't 100 percent. Since returning from the injured list, Garcia is 1-for-18 at the plate with zero extra-base hits, one RBI and a 0:4 BB:K.

  • Rangers' Adolis Garcia: Hitless in return
    By RotoWire

Garcia went 0-for-4 in Sundays 5-2 extra-inning loss to the Mets. Garcia was activated from the injured list after missing 10 games with a quadriceps injury. He recorded three putouts in the field, including a sliding catch, which tested the quad. Prior to the injury, Garcia had been on a roll at the plate, batting .368 (14-for-38) with six extra-base hits (two home runs), nine RBI, three steals and 10 runs scored over nine contests.
