Assuming he doesn't enter the contest off the bench, Freeman will finish the season with a .281/.354/.361 slash line, two home runs, 18 stolen bases, 31 RBI and 50 runs scored across 428 plate appearances.

Freeman's back will force him to the bench for a fourth consecutive game, and given the Rockies' record, they likely aren't in a rush to bring him back for the final few games of the regular season. Hunter Goodman will get another start as Colorado's DH while Braxton Fulford starts behind the plate.

Freeman contributed to a third-inning rally for the Rockies, driving in a run on a bunt single while also coming around to score. He now has hits in five of his last six games, driving in two, scoring twice and also tallying a stolen base. Freeman remains Colorado's leadoff hitter and has started 13 of the last 14 games.
