  • Phillies farm director Luke Murton said that Miller will no longer participate in the Arizona Fall League due to "some nagging things physically," Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. There doesn't seem to be any concern that whatever physical issues Miller is dealing with will linger, but the Phillies have decided it's best to give their top prospect some rest. Miller slashed .264/.392/.433 with 14 home runs and 59 stolen bases between Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2025 and could be ready to make his major-league debut with Philadelphia next season.

  • Phillies' Aidan Miller: Climbs to Triple-A
    By RotoWire

The Phillies promoted Miller from Double-A Reading to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. After earning a pair of promotions in 2024, Miller had up to this point spent the entire 2025 season at Reading, slashing .259/.382/.427 with 13 home runs, 52 stolen bases and a 14.9 percent walk rate over 489 plate appearances. Miller had opened September by going 8-for-19 with two extra-base hits, two stolen bases and a 9:4 K:BB in six games, with his hot start to the month convincing the Phillies that he was ready for a stiffer test. Though Miller is likely to remain at the Triple-A level for the rest of the season, a call-up to the big leagues can't be completely discounted if the hamstring strain that star shortstop Trea Turner suffered in Sunday's loss to the Marlins proves to be a long-term concern. For now, Edmundo Sosa would appear to be the top choice to step in as the Phillies' everyday shortstop if Turner is forced to go on the injured list.

  • Miller is slashing .261/.400/.457 with three home runs and 16 steals in his last 25 games for Double-A Reading. Miller was known more for his bat than his speed when the Phillies selected him in the first round a couple years ago, but he's been running wild this year for the Fightin Phils. He got off to a slow start at Double-A, but Miller has come on strong lately and is walking at an 18.3 percent clip over this 25-game stretch. Miller has only played shortstop since getting drafted, but there's a chance he will eventually move to third base.

  • The Phillies reassigned Miller to minor-league camp Tuesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. Miller was one of a handful of cuts the Phillies made as they trim down the number of bodies in big-league camp. The top prospect finished last season at Double-A Reading and is likely headed back there to start the 2025 campaign. Miller is tracking toward a potential debut in 2026.

  • Phillies' Aidan Miller: Bumped to Reading
    By RotoWire

Miller was promoted to Double-A Reading on Sunday, MLB Pipeline reports. Miller was promoted to High-A Jersey Shore on June 10, and he maintained a 117 wRC+ across 258 plate appearances at the level. A first-round pick in 2023, Miller continues to move quickly through the organization as he'll be only 20 years old when the 2025 season kicks off.
