Doyle went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run during the Rockies' 4-3 loss to the Giants on Saturday. Doyle gave the Rockies a two-run lead in the second inning with a solo shot off Justin Verlander. It was Doyle's 15th home run of the season but his first since Aug. 23 against the Pirates. He has struggled at the plate since Sept. 1 with a .432 OPS, two steals and four RBI in 23 strikeouts across 78 plate appearances.

Doyle is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins. Doyle has a .143 average and .353 OPS over the last 15 days. With Doyle coming off the bench Thursday, Jordan Beck, Mickey Moniak and Tyler Freeman will patrol the outfield for Colorado.

Doyle will pick out a spot on the bench after going 1-for-6 with four strikeouts through the first two games of the series. Jordan Beck, Mickey Moniak and Tyler Freeman will start in the outfield for the Rockies while Yanquiel Fernandez serves as their DH.

Doyle went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 3-0 win over the Padres. Doyle has picked up the pace on the basepaths with five steals over his last 20 games. In that span, he's batting .324 (24-for-74) while adding four home runs, six doubles and 15 RBI. The outfielder has provided a decent mix of power and speed, though not at the same level as he showed last year. He's racked up 14 homers, 19 doubles, 16 steals, 54 RBI, 52 runs scored and a .247/.291/.395 slash line across 120 contests, but he's been much more consistent in recent weeks.
