Nick Pratto 1B | TEX
Royals' Nick Pratto: Slugs fifth homer
Pratto went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 11-3 loss to the Rays.
He led off the game by ripping Zach Eflin's second pitch over the right-field fence, but things quickly got away from Kansas City after that. Pratto snapped a 15-game power drought with the blast and is up to five homers on the season, but the 24-year-old is slashing just .196/.269/.326 with a 38.5 percent strikeout rate through 13 contests since Vinnie Pasquantino (shoulder) was lost for the year.

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: Reaches four times Friday
France went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, a walk and two runs in a win over the Orioles on Friday.
One night after belting a 430-foot blast in Yankee Stadium, France put together a noteworthy performance of a slightly different stripe. The veteran's current tear at the plate has seen him generate a .358 average and .941 OPS over his last 17 games while producing seven multi-hit efforts. France's 23.0 percent strikeout rate during that span is notably higher than his norm, but a 28.0 percent line-drive rate has helped him to a very elevated .458 BABIP.

Matt Beaty 1B | KC
Royals' Matt Beaty: Placed on 7-day IL
Beaty was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list Friday, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.
After being ruled out of the lineup for a second straight game Friday, Beaty will be unavailable for at least a week while recovering from a concussion. Outfielder Nate Eaton was called up from Triple-A Omaha to replace Beaty on the major-league roster.

Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Recalled from Triple-A
The Red Sox recalled Dalbec from Triple-A Worcester on Friday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
With Pablo Reyes (abdomen) headed to the injured list, Dalbec will come up from the minors to fill Reyes' roster spot. He has been outstanding at Triple-A this season, slashing .296/.414/.638 with 18 homers and 43 RBI through 237 plate appearances, but he's struggled during his two brief MLB stints this season.

Triston Casas 1B | BOS
Red Sox's Triston Casas: Sitting Friday
Casas is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the White Sox, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Casas will take a seat after he went 5-for-18 with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored while starting all four games of the team's series with Minnesota. Justin Turner will draw the start at first base and bat second in the series opener with Chicago.

Matt Beaty 1B | KC
Royals' Matt Beaty: Not in lineup Friday
Beaty (undisclosed) is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the Rays.
Beaty will remain out of the lineup as he continues to nurse an undisclosed injury. It's unclear if he would even be in the starting lineup regardless of his health considering he's made only one start for the Royals since being called up Sunday.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Rays' Luke Raley: Out of lineup Friday
Raley (hand) is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the Royals, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Raley will miss Friday's contest after he suffered a right hand injury during Thursday's 6-5 loss. He went for a CT scan after Thursday's game and it confirmed no fracture. Raley said he would be able to play off the bench Friday if needed. Josh Lowe will handle the designated hitter role and bat third against Kansas City.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Sitting Friday
Diaz isn't in the Rays' lineup Friday against the Royals, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Diaz earned himself a day off after going 5-for-10 with an RBI and three runs scored across his last two games. Harold Ramirez will fill in for Diaz at first base, moving Josh Lowe into the DH spot and Manuel Margot to right field, batting leadoff.
