Diaz went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Blue Jays.

Diaz took Kevin Gausman yard in the second inning to start the rout for the Rays. It was Diaz's ninth homer of the season and first in his last 54 at-bats, though he still managed to hit .407 with eight runs scored in that span. For the season, Diaz is hitting .294/.402/.425 across 535 plate appearances.

Santana went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's victory over the Padres.

Santana launched a three-run shot off Mike Clevinger in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving the Mariners a 6-0 lead. The 36-year-old has now gone deep 15 times this year and three times in his last five games. Santana has gone 5-for-29 with three homers, six RBI and six runs scored over 10 games in September.

Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Rays.

Guerrero got Toronto on the board early as he hit a solo homer to left field in the first inning. The long ball was the 100th of his career and 28th on the season. It was also his first since Aug. 30, breaking a 63 at-bat homerless drought, his longest of the season. Guerrero is slashing .278/.342/.485 through 142 games this season.

Pratto isn't starting Wednesday against the Twins.

Pratto will get a breather after he went 0-for-9 with a run, an RBI, a walk and six strikeouts over the last three games. Vinnie Pasquantino will start at first base and bat cleanup Wednesday.

Aranda isn't starting Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Aranda started the last four games and went 4-for-13 with a homer, two runs, two RBI, a walk and five strikeouts. He'll get a breather while Isaac Paredes takes over at the keystone and bats eighth.

Casas isn't starting Wednesday against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Casas started the last two games and went 1-for-6 with a two-run homer, a stolen base, a walk and a strikeout. However, he'll get a breather while Christian Arroyo starts at first base and bats seventh.

Santana will serve as the Mariners' designated hitter and cleanup batter in Wednesday's game against the Padres.

Santana will be making his fifth consecutive start after going 3-for-14 with a pair of home runs and three RBI over the previous four contests. While Mitch Haniger (back) is day-to-day, the Mariners look as though they'll have regular spots in the lineup available for both Santana and corner outfielder Sam Haggerty.

France (wrist) went 1-for-4 in a loss to the Padres on Tuesday.

The Mariners were able to do precious little against a dominant Yu Darvish, but France at least was able to get on safely after missing Sunday's series finale against Atlanta due to his troublesome left wrist. The talented infielder has hit safely in four of his last six games, and in 11 of his last 14 overall.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

The lefty-hitting Naylor will take a seat for the second time in the series with the Angels bringing another southpaw (Patrick Sandoval) to the hill. Tyler Freeman will crack the lineup in the series finale while Naylor takes a seat.

Aranda went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader split with the Blue Jays.

He took Alek Manoah deep in the seventh inning for his first career big-league homer, briefly giving the Rays a 2-1 lead before the bullpen imploded in the bottom of the frame on the way to a 7-2 loss. Aranda has started four straight games, getting the nod at first base in the matinee and going 1-for-4 before sliding over to second base for the nightcap. With Brandon Lowe (back) on the IL once again, the 24-year-old could see a significant role in the short term. Aranda has hit safely in six straight appearances, and since rejoining the big-league roster in September, he's batting .353 (6-for-17) with two doubles and Tuesday's homer.
