Torkelson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Torkelson will get a day of rest Sunday for the series finale against San Francisco. Tyler Nevin will handle first base duties in his absence and hit seventh.

France went 1-for-3 with a two-run double in a win over the Rockies on Friday.

France's fourth-inning two-bagger plated J.P. Crawford and Julio Rodriguez to extend the Mariners' lead to 5-1 at the time. France's hitting streak now sits at 11 games, and he's hitting a blistering .429 over the 17 plate appearances he's logged with runners in scoring position during that span.

Mountcastle went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 6-3 win over the White Sox.

Mountcastle still has a share of the major-league lead in home runs with six, and he's also notched two steals this season. He's gone 7-for-25 (.280) over his last six contests, and he's slashing a solid .259/.286/.638 with 19 RBI and 10 runs scored over 63 plate appearances. He should see a near-everyday role at first base.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 4-3 win over the Nationals.

Bell was off to an awful start this season -- Friday marked his first multi-hit effort of the campaign. The homer was also his first in 2023. Through 13 games, he's slashing just .140/.267.240 with five RBI, three runs scored and two doubles. There's still plenty of time for him to turn things around, and the slow start at the plate has yet to cut into his playing time.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI, one run scored and a walk in Friday's win over the Astros.

Lowe opened the game's scoring with an RBI double in the first inning followed by a two-run base hit in the fifth. After a slow start to the year, he's now riding a nine-game hitting streak. During that span, he's gone 11-for-37 (.297) with seven extra-base hits and 10 RBI.

Raley is starting in left field and batting fifth for the Rays on Friday in Toronto.

Raley has been in the lineup all nine times the Rays have faced a right-hander this season and hasn't hit lower than fifth. He hasn't done much outside of a two-game stretch against the Nationals earlier this month, but Tampa Bay clearly wants to see what he can do versus righties.

Kirilloff (wrist) homered and drew a walk Thursday in a rehab game with Low-A Fort Myers.

Kirilloff was starting in right field in his second rehab contest after playing first base in his first rehab game Tuesday. He'll surely move up to a higher affiliate at some point and also needs to show he can play back-to-back games before being activated. The Twins haven't announced a timetable for Kirilloff's return, but he should be able to make it back before the end of the month if all goes well.

Dalbec started at third base and went 0-for-3 in Thursday's 9-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

He filled in for a resting Rafael Devers after playing shortstop the day before. The Red Sox are moving Dalbec around -- he's played first base, shortstop and now third base over the last three games -- trying to take advantage of a potentially explosive right-handed bat against a string of southpaws. He's 2-for-9 with two walks and a stolen base since being called up.

Rizzo went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Thursday's loss against the Twins.

Rizzo was the lone bright spot in the Yankees' worst loss of the season thus far. The former Cub has had a hot start to the season, hitting .326 with a 1.004 OPS. The veteran lefty will look to continue playing well in his crucial role of protecting reigning league MVP Aaron Judge in the lineup.

Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 8-7 victory over Oakland.

Mountcastle led off the fourth inning with a solo shot off Adam Oller, tying the game 4-4. The 24-year-old first baseman has six homers on the season, including four in his last three games, tying him with Pete Alonso for the MLB lead. Mountcastle is slashing .264/.293/.679 with a league-leading 19 RBI through 53 at-bats to start the year.
