Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Scores three times Monday
Gurriel went 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored in Monday's 11-2 win over the Mariners.
Monday's game was Gurriel's first this season with three runs scored. The 37-year-old notched a pair of base hits and a walk and came around to score each time. Gurriel has been scorching hot at the plate since late August, as he's slashing .371/.458/.532 with two homers, six RBI, 13 runs scored and 10:11 BB:K over his last 16 games.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Makes history Monday
Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-0 win over the Yankees.
His first-inning blast off Jameson Taillon made history in a couple different ways. At 22 years old, Guerrero became the youngest player in Blue Jays history to slug 40 homers in a season, and with his Hall of Fame dad and namesake, he's also now part of one of the only two father-son duos in MLB history to each record 40-homer campaigns (Cecil and Prince Fielder being the others). Guerrero also extended his hitting streak to 14 games with the performance, a stretch during which he's batting a blistering .414 (24-for-58) with four home runs, nine RBI and 12 runs.

Ty France 1B | SD
Mariners' Ty France: On base three times Sunday
France went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs in an extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
France crossed the plate in the fourth and 11th innings in the marathon victory. The 27-year-old has reached safely in seven of the last eight games, pushing his on-base percentage to an elite .363 across 127 games.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Cleared to start
Mountcastle (foot) will start at first base and bat second Monday against the Royals, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
A sore foot kept Mountcastle on the bench for Sunday's 8-7 win over the Yankees, but his return to the lineup a day later suggests he was sidelined to close out the weekend mostly as a matter of precaution. With Mountcastle starting at first base and Cedric Mullins getting a rare turn as the Orioles' designated hitter, Trey Mancini will hit the bench Monday.

Chris Gittens 1B | HOU
Yankees' Chris Gittens: Back from 7-day IL
Gittens (hamstring) was reinstated from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 7-day injured list Saturday, and he went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts in his return to the starting lineup.
Gittens was sidelined for approximately two weeks with the hamstring injury. The 27-year-old has submitted a monstrous 1.160 OPS at Triple-A this season, but he likely won't be in the mix for a September call-up now that the Yankees have Anthony Rizzo and Luke Voit on hand to pick up work at first base.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Back on bench Monday
Voit is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.
Voit is no longer a full-time player for the Yankees with Anthony Rizzo taking over primary duties at first base, but the former still looks to be locked into a near-everyday role at designated hitter. However, with the Yankees giving Giancarlo Stanton a break from outfield duties and having him serve as a DH in Monday's series opener, Voit will be forced to the bench as a result.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: On bench again
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
The lefty-hitting O'Hearn will unsurprisingly remain on the bench with the Royals facing a southpaw (Zac Lowther) for the series opener in Baltimore. O'Hearn has been hurt by Kansas City facing a slew of lefties lately, but Adalberto Mondesi's recent return from the injured list looks like it will cost O'Hearn some opportunities versus right-handed pitching, too. O'Hearn has picked up only one start in the Royals' last seven games.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Blasts 14th home run
Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Padres.
Gurriel went deep off Chris Paddack to lead off the seventh inning. It was the first of back-to-back homers as Carlos Correa followed him with one of his own. The 37-year-old Gurriel is slashing .314/.384/.473 with 14 long balls, 72 RBI and 67 runs scored in 510 plate appearances. He has at least one hit in 14 of his last 15 games.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Scores twice in win
Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a pair of runs in Sunday's 8-0 win over Oakland.
The 22-year-old recorded three singles in the contest. Guerrero scored on a three-run home run by Alejandro Kirk in the third inning and a Bo Bichette double in the fourth. During his 13-game hitting streak, Guerrero has gone 21-for-53 (.396), although he's knocked just three home runs and a double in that span. For the year, he's slashing a stellar .318/.409/.598 with 39 homers, 97 RBI, 104 runs scored and four stolen bases across 580 plate appearances.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Nursing sore foot
Mountcastle is dealing with a sore foot after fouling a ball off it, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
The slugger is available off the bench Sunday against the Yankees, although manager Brandon Hyde figures to let him rest before returning home for a series against Kansas City. Mountcastle should be considered day-to-day until further notice.
