Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Smacks 34th homer
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-2 extra-inning loss to Cleveland.
The superstar slugger accounted for all of Toronto's run production with his sixth-inning blast. Guerrero is on a six-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 8-for-24 (.333). That's right in line with his play all year -- he owns a .328/.423/.659 slash line with 34 homers, 85 RBI, 82 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 437 plate appearances.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Blasts three-run homer
Olson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Angels.
Olson cranked his 28th home run Sunday off Reid Detmers in the third inning to give Oakland a 3-2 lead. He has slowed down over his last 10 games, batting just .176. However, he had seven long balls in July. On the season, the 27-year-old is slashing .280/.373/.580 with a team-leading 28 homers, 70 RBI and 69 runs in 428 plate appearances.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Homers in three-hit effort
Gurriel went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-3 loss to San Francisco.
The 37-year-old provided an early spark with his first-inning long ball, and he continued his productive hitting throughout the game. Gurriel has posted five straight multi-hit games, going 12-for-23 (.522) with a pair of homers, seven RBI and five runs scored in that hot stretch. He's batting .324/.388/.490 with 12 homers, 66 RBI, 54 runs scored and a stolen base through 417 plate appearances overall.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Rehab assignment coming this week
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said during an appearance on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that Voit (knee) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
Voit is in the midst of his third stint on the injured list this season, this time due to a bone bruise and inflammation in his left knee. Though Voit could be tracking toward a return from the IL by next weekend or the week after, the Yankees don't appear to be counting on him reclaiming an everyday role at first base after the team shipped out two highly regarded prospects to the Cubs on Thursday to acquire Anthony Rizzo. With Rizzo off to a red-hot start to his tenure with the Yankees and with Giancarlo Stanton locked in as the team's regular designated hitter, Voit may need one of the two to miss time with an injury before regaining meaningful at-bats.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Dialed in at plate
Gurriel will start at first base and bat third Sunday against the Giants, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.
After batting cleanup in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Giants, Gurriel will be back to his usual No. 3 spot in the order for the series finale. The veteran first baseman has been among the hotter hitters in the Houston lineup of late; he enters Sunday's game with four consecutive multi-hit games, during which he's driven in five runs and scored four times. His average is up to a career-high .319 for the season.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Takes seat Sunday
Vaughn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Cleveland.
Vaughn will take a seat for the first time since July 20, ending a streak of 10 consecutive starts. During that stretch, Vaughn slashed .361/.410/.556 while picking up work in both left and right field in addition to making his first career start at second base. The White Sox will continue to find ways to keep Vaughn's bat in the lineup while he's rolling, though his lack of extensive experience in the infield aside from at first base means he probably won't play the keystone or third base with much regularity.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: Goes yard for second straight game
Rizzo went 2-for-2 with a home run, two additional runs scored and two walks in Saturday's win over the Marlins.
Rizzo has now homered in his two games with the Yankees after being traded from the Cubs before the deadline, and while the sample size is extremely small, the slugging first baseman has gone 4-for-5 with two homers and three walks. Already, Rizzo has done something no other Yankees player ever has. He's the first to reach base eight times in his first two games with the franchise.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Three hits in Saturday's win
Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 5-2 win over Detroit.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring with an RBI single in the third inning. Mountcastle added another pair of singles for just his third multi-hit effort in 13 games since the All-Star break. He's hit .224 with a .708 OPS, three home runs, nine RBI and six runs scored in that span.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Sits for first time in 2021
Guerrero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
After starting each of the Blue Jays' first 101 games of the season at first base or designated hitter, Guerrero will get a breather for the first time in 2021. The day off comes even while Guerrero continues to rake at the dish, as he's opened the second half with a 1.007 OPS across 14 contests. Cavan Biggio will cover first base in the series finale, while George Springer gets a turn as Toronto's DH.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: Gets leadoff look
Rizzo will start at first base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Marlins.
While batting out of the cleanup spot during his first two games in pinstripes, Rizzo provided excellent early returns for the Yankees, going 4-for-5 with two solo home runs, three walks and three additional runs. After Rizzo's back-to-back big games, manager Aaron Boone will give the 31-year-old a spin in the table-setting role while moving Gleyber Torres down in the batting order. Rizzo could end up sticking as the leadoff man while the Yankees wait for DJ LeMahieu (triceps) to shake off an injury.
