Padlo was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.

Padlo was sent back to Tacoma on Saturday, but he'll now rejoin the big-league roster with Tyler Anderson moving to the bereavement list. Padlo has recorded a double in 13 major-league at-bats this season, and he should continue serving as a reserve infielder for the weekend series against Arizona.

Voit isn't starting Thursday's game against the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old will be out of the lineup for the fourth time in the last six games since Giancarlo Stanton will serve as the designated hitter. Voit has gone 1-for-14 with a run, a walk and six strikeouts across his last six appearances.

Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 9-8 win over the Royals.

With the O's down 5-0 heading into the eighth inning, the offense came alive and scored all nine of its runs in the bottom of the frame, with Mountcastle's blast off Jake Brentz being the biggest blow. The 24-year-old has gone yard three times in his last nine games, slashing a blistering .343/.439/.629 over that stretch, and on the year he's batting .266 with 26 homers and 77 RBI through 121 contests.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

The Jays scored single runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings to pull away, and Guerrero finished off that stretch with a blast off Aroldis Chapman. The 22-year-old superstar is back to leading the majors in batting average at .320, and he's within striking distance of the lead in homers (41, two behind Shohei Ohtani) and RBI (99, five back of Salvador Perez) as he attempts to become the youngest Triple Crown winner in history.

Vaughn started in left field in place of an injured Eloy Jimenez (knee) and went 0-for-4 in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to Oakland.

Jimenez took a hard-hit foul ball off his knee while in the dugout during Tuesday's game and was eventually removed. In addition to Wednesday's start in left field, Vaughn moved there from right field after Jimenez left Tuesday night's game. Jimenez did not work out at all Wednesday, which suggests another day in left field for Vaughn on Thursday.

Lowe went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, one RBI and three runs scored in Wednesday's 8-5 win over Arizona.

The first baseman tied the game at 2-2 with his RBI triple in the fourth inning, and he ended up a home run shy of the cycle. Lowe has been productive in his last 18 games, going 24-for-70 (.343) with two homers, eight RBI, 15 runs scored and six doubles in that span. He's slashing .261/.350/.405 across 552 plate appearances this year, his first as an everyday player.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Diaz will take a seat for the first time since Aug. 29, ending a streak of nine consecutive starts. Though Diaz performed adequately during that stretch -- he hit .235 with a home run, two doubles and seven RBI -- it likely won't be enough for him to hold down a spot in the everyday lineup versus right-handed pitching. The lefty-hitting Ji-Man Choi (hamstring) was activated from the injured list earlier Wednesday and is expected to play regularly against right-handers, while the lefty-hitting Joey Wendle will hold down a large-side platoon role at third base.

Voit is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

With Giancarlo Stanton occupying the designated hitter spot rather than right field, Voit will head to the bench for the second time in the series. Voit looks to be fighting Brett Gardner for one spot in the Yankees' everyday lineup.

Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Orioles.

He took Alexander Wells deep in the fourth inning, but the Royals were already in a 6-1 hole at that point. Santana is now one homer shy of his eighth season with 20 or more, but his .703 OPS (on a .225/.329/.374 slash line) would be the worst mark of his career over a full schedule.

Dalbec went 2-for-2 with a pair of two-run home runs in Tuesday's 12-7 loss to Tampa Bay.

The 26-year-old spelled Rafael Devers at third base, and Dalbec delivered with homers in the eighth and ninth innings as Boston tried to come back from a significant deficit. Dalbec recorded his first 20-homer season in the process, and he's added 69 RBI, 41 runs scored and a stolen base while slashing .244/.302/.483 in 391 plate appearances. Going forward, Dalbec is expected to see the short side of a platoon with Kyle Schwarber at first base.
