Athletics' Matt Olson: Hits 10th home run

Rays' Kevin Padlo: Returns to Triple-A
Padlo was optioned to Triple-A Durham after Tuesday's win at Baltimore, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old had one at-bat off the bench Tuesday and is now 1-for-12 with a double and a run in nine appearances this season. Padlo could rejoin the Rays later in the season if the club requires depth in the corner infield.

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Available off bench
Tellez (hamstring) is doing well and will be available off the bench Tuesday against the Red Sox, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Tellez's left hamstring appears to be mostly recovered after it forced him to exit Sunday's game against the Phillies. With just two homers on the season, Tellez's power has yet to make much of an impact, but his overall offensive numbers have been trending upward after a miserable start to 2021.

Yankees' Luke Voit: Not starting Tuesday
Voit is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.
Voit receives a day off after playing six of the last seven days to begin his season. The 2020 MLB home run leader has tallied two hits in each of his past three games and launched his first homer of 2021 on Monday against the Rangers.

Yankees' Luke Voit: Blasts first homer
Voit went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers.
He took Josh Sborz deep in the eighth inning, supplying the last gasp of offense for the Yankees on the night. It was Voit's first homer of the year, and after going 0-for-10 in his first three games back in the lineup after coming off the IL, the first baseman seems to have found his swing, reeling off three straight multi-hit performances.

Alex Kirilloff LF | MIN
Twins' Alex Kirilloff: Hits off machine
Kiriloff (wrist) hit off a pitching machine Monday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Kiriloff is working through a sprained wrist, an ailment for which he received a cortisone shot 10 days ago. Surgery was potentially on the table if the shot didn't have the desired effect, but he's been making encouraging progress, advancing first to fielding and dry swings and now to hitting. The Twins still haven't specified when they expect him to return, however.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Missing series with ankle issue
Abreu will miss the White Sox's weekday series against the Twins due to left ankle inflammation but is expected to return over the weekend against the Yankees, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Abreu has been involved in a pair of collisions over the last three days. He didn't miss a start after crashing into Hunter Dozier along the first base line Friday but will miss at least three this time around after sliding into home plate to score the winning run Sunday. X-rays were negative, but an MRI revealed inflammation serious enough that the White Sox have already ruled him out until Friday. Andrew Vaughn will get to spend some time at first base in his absence, opening up more starts in the outfield for players like Danny Mendick and Leury Garcia, who will occupy the corners Monday against the Twins.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Day off Monday
Abreu is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.
Abreu was involved in a scary collision with Hunter Dozier along the first base line Friday and exited the game, but he was right back in the lineup the next day and went 2-for-4 in both weekend games against the Royals. Given that he looked clearly healthy over the weekend, it appears as though his off day Monday is a routine one. Andrew Vaughn will start at first base in his absence, with Leury Garcia starting in left field.
