Athletics' Tyler Soderstrom: Swats pair of doubles in win
Soderstrom went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and another two-bagger in a win over the Rangers on Tuesday.
The rookie drove home Shea Langeliers in the first inning with his first double and later added his ninth double of the season. Rangers' Nathaniel Lowe: Goes deep Tuesday
Lowe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.
Lowe took Mitch Spence deep to center in the fourth for his first long ball since Sept. 12 and his third this month. Rangers' Dustin Harris: Recalled from Triple-A
The Rangers recalled Harris from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.
Harris will reach the majors for the first time in his career after spending the entire season with Round Rock, slashing .272/.355/.391 with 53 RBI across 486 plate appearances. Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Back from injured list Tuesday
The Orioles reinstated Mountcastle (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined for the past month due to a sprained left wrist, but he's ready to rejoin Baltimore after a three-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk. Mountcastle was in the midst of a 3-for-22 slump prior to the injury, and he also struggled during the rehab stint with just one hit and six strikeouts in 11 at-bats. He is not in Tuesday's lineup versus the Yankees, as Ryan O'Hearn will be at first base.

Vladimir Guerrero 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Another three-hit effort Sunday
Guerrero went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Rays.
All the knocks were singles, but it was still Guerrero's fourth three-hit performance in the last week. The 25-year-old is raking to close out a mostly disappointing season for the Blue Jays, and through 17 games in September he's slashing .348/.416/.536 with three homers, 11 RBI and 15 runs.

Austin Shenton 3B | SEA
Rays' Austin Shenton: Sent down to minors
The Rays optioned Shenton to their spring training complex Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
The minor-league season for Triple-A Durham is over, so Shenton will stay in shape at the team's spring training facility in case he's needed later this week. Shenton has put up a .745 OPS over 50 plate appearances during his time in the majors this season.

Spencer Torkelson 1B | DET
Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Homers in win Sunday
Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Orioles.
Kerry Carpenter went deep twice, and Torkelson tacked on his ninth long ball of the year to give Detroit possession of the last AL wild-card spot for the moment. Torkelson had a sluggish start to the season, but he's been better lately, batting .273 over his last 10 contests with the one home run and four RBI. The 25-year-old should continue to see regular playing time in the final week of the regular season.
